Chapter 11: Is there a forever?

I woke up crying

Lance sat up fast

"You cool Lani?"

I shook my head no

My father was almost here

That dream jerked my mind and

My mind was tired from the laps my father just ran through

I was crying on his shoulder

"Did I hurt you?"

What?

Ooh yeah,

We did kinda do something

And last time in Florida I blacked

Lance was worried about me having flashbacks

But it was over and

I could careless about Him

I haven't pictured Him in a while

But right now my tears was free falling

"No you didn't. It was just a dream."

I laid back down

Lance pulled himself closer to me

I put my face in his bare chest

"I'm here baby girl. Ain't nothing happening to you with me here."

Lance ain't understand,

Right now.

But I ain't feel like explaining

I'm going to see my father tomorrow while Lance goes to work

I miss him

"Lance I love you so much."

"I know, you ain't gotta tell me."

I smile and reach up and kiss his chin

"I'm here forever, I promise."

Lance lifts up my face and kisses my lips softly

"Forever."

I repeat

I ain't know that existed

But it sounds so real

Scratch that

It feels realer than the sun keeping it a hunned

I believed him

And trust him

My father approved of Lance

That's something special

I had three boyfriends before Lance

My father hated them all

Maybe cuz he ain't know them but all of them failed

Cheater,

Liar,

Only wanted one thing.

Lance was a T.V boyfriend

Childhood friend,

Turns into the love of your life.

I was enjoying us

I fell back sleep into forever
