Chapter 10

*After 6 months*

"Kendall"I said while I'm inside the bathroom

"You ok baby?"

"I think I might be pregnant"

"Really?"

"Yeah.Can we go to a doctor so we can confirm it?

"Sure.Lets get dressed then"

"Ok"

Me and Kendall got dressed.We're on our way to a clinic.

Once we got there a nurse opens the door.

"Welcome"

We just smiled.

"Are you Mrs.Schmidt?"

"Yeah"

"Doctor Redwood is ready to see you now"

"Thank you"

"Can I come with you?"

"Yeah.I want you to be there with me"

Me and Kendall walk towards a room.

"Hi Mrs.Schmidt so glad your finally here.What can I do for you?"

"I'm here to see if I'm carrying mine and Kendall's child"

"Sure.Just lay down on that bed over there"

I lay down on the bed as Dr.Redwood place something cold in my belly and then places a device.

"Mrs.Schmidt congratulations you are going to be a mother.See for yourself."

I look at the monitor and saw something moving inside me.

Tears of joy begun to fall.

I look at Kendall and saw him cry too.

"Kendall?"

"Yeah?"

"I can't wait to see our kid"

"Me too"

*9 months later*

"KENDALL?!"

Kendall came rushing into the room.

"What's wrong?"

"CAN'T YOU SEE?! THE BABY IS COMING"

He stand there and had a shocked on his face.

"WELL DO SOMETHING! UGH!"

I'm really in a lot of pain right now.

"KENDALL! HURRY UP!"

"Ok.Calm down."

Ouch..

Ouch...

Ouch..

We are on the way to the hospital now.

*Hospital*

"Dr,She's having the baby now"

"Oh.Nurse!"

Then they pick me up to the stretcher and lay me down on bed.

"Can you please call my husband?"

"Sure"

The nurse get out of the room and calls Kendall.

He enters the room.

"Baby I'm here"

"Kendall if I don't make it please take care of our child"

"Cate you're gonna make it.Don't say that"

Then the doctor comes.

"Mr.Schmidt,You should left now"

"But-"

They push him out of the door.

Argh! I'm in so much pain right now.

Ouch!

Kendall's POV:

The doctors drag me out.Cate needs me.

"Ahhhh!" That's Cate.

I run to her room.

The nurse opens it.

"You can come in now sir"

"Thank you"

I enter the room and saw Cate in the bed with our baby on top of her.

I walk towards her.

"Kendall?"

"Yeah?"

"She's beautiful isn't she?"

"Yeah like you"

She smiled.

"What should we name her?"

"What do you want?"

"How about Katelyn Willow Schmidt?"

"Sounds good to me"

"Kendall,I have to go now"

"Cate what are you saying?"

"Daddy is calling me"

"Cate! Please don't leave me"

She gave me our child.

"Take care of her for me.I love the both of you.I'll be with you don't worry."

"Cate please.We need you"

"Sorry.I have to go"

And with that she close her eyes.The line went straight.

Doctors and nurses comes rushing in.

"Sir Can I have her for a minute?"

I hand her my baby.

"Thank you sir.Now please wait in the waiting room"

And with that she push me out of the door...Again

After a few hours.The doctor comes to me with a sad face.

"How is she?"

"I'm sorry Mr.Schmidt we've done everything we can but still we couldn't save her.We're very sorry.But she's gone"

I collapsed at the floor and start crying...

Cate is GONE...

She's GONE..

A nurse comes to me.

"Sir? would you like to hold your baby again?"

I stand up.

"Yes please"

She hands me my baby.

She snuggle in my chest.

Then her eyes suddenly opened.

She got my eyes.But mostly her face is just like her MOTHER.

"Well Katelyn its you and me now.Mommy wouldn't be here with us anymore.She's with your grandpa now.She got a pretty good job in delivering you.I promise I'll be a good father to you.I love you my Princess"

I kiss her forehead and one tear slip out of my eye.

Cate I promise I'll take good care of our daughter.I PROMISE.
