First Stage

Hunter could not believe that he is seeing her at his lair. Does her Grandma know that she's here? He guess not.

"You needed me?" His friend, Blake entered his room.

He nodded then looked back at the CCTV monitors. "Let's go down to room four."

Blake chuckled. "Can't wait to see your lady love?"

He smirked. "I need to know why she is here."

Blake grinned at him. "She is not here to see you."

He snorted. "I know but still, I needed to see and talk to her."

He laugh. "Let's go."

They were about to walk towards his door when it suddenly opens. "Going somewhere?" Devin asked them.

"Going to check room four." Blake answered him.

He frowned. "Why?"

"Our boss' lady love is there."

His face brightens. "Really?! I'll go with you both."

Hunter only groan. As they walk towards room four, Hunter could not help but to be a little nervous. He was not sure if Annabella still remembers him but even she didn't, it was fine. All he wanted to know is why she is here as this is the last place he imagines that she will visit.

When they entered the room, Hunter's eyes automatically searched for her and as soon as their eyes met, he suddenly had the urge to pull out her from the room so she wouldn't see what is going to happen tonight. And darn. She is more beautiful up close. But she avoided looking to him when Blake started to talk with the girls.

After they left the room, Devin punched his shoulder. "She is a babe."

He glared at Devin. "She's off-limits."

The two laugh. "She's not yours." Blake said while having a smug face.

"Yet."

Blake chuckled. "I still don't understand why you didn't pursue her before. You have all the time."

"She just left her Grandma's house two years ago."

"Yeah and it was two years ago already so why you still didn't take your chance?"

He inhale deeply. "I am out of her league."

"I didn't know that there was such a thing like that." Devin commented.

Well, for him, that thing exists when it involves Annabella. When Hunter return to his room, he was having inner battle if talking to her will be really a good idea. But when he saw from the monitor that Annabella left the room and stayed at the balcony, he found himself leaving his room. When he reached the balcony, he saw the woman who hunted him for years. "You'll have a stiff neck in that position." He said as he seated on the opposite side of the bench. She got startled and looked surprised to see him. "You're not enjoying the night?"

She blinked her eyes then cleared her throat. "I've never been to a place like this."

His heart automatically thumped wildly upon hearing her voice so he cough a bit to regain his voice. "So why you are here?"

"My friends dragged me here."

He chuckled. "If you really don't want to come, they won't make you to be here." Then he smiled inwardly as she groan. "Anyway, my men will be there for an hour."

"What?! Why it's so long?"

"It was actually the shortest."

"Seriously?!"
