Zaina's POV
Today was the first day of year 12. Yay! Note the sarcasm. I woke up at about 6am and got ready for school, I did my usual morning routine and by the time I was done, it was 7am. I had my breakfast and was about to leave when I realised that my annoying older brother wasn't awake yet. I would run up stairs, but being the lovely little Sister I am, I decided to let him get in some trouble on the first day.
I was walking outside to my car and drove to Hailey, my best friend's house. Once I got there, I saw she was waiting for me on her porch with Maximus, her chocolate Labrador.
"That's my bestie friend ah" that song has been stuck in my head for the entire summer, I don't even know why.
"Yeaaa BESTIE THATS MY BESTIE YESAAAAAAA" Hailey sang back. We both burst out laughing and we started heading to school, or as I called it, The Hell Hole.
