"Liberty, can you come here for a moment?" Devon asked. Liberty had been outside playing soccer with Micheal. It's one of the things she couldn't do with her biological father. But when her and Micheal played, it wasn't soccer. It was a game to see who got hit in the gut first. It wasn't international, but they got so competitive, that's the way it always turned out. "You didn't tell him anything, right?" she asked, putting her foot on the ball. "Of course I didn't. Why would I?" he said. She walked into the mansion and took her shoes off. She always tried not to bring dirt into the house. She slipped her flip-flops on and walked up to Devon's office. "You rang?" Liberty laughed. Although he was Micheal's boss, hers as well, he always had a decent sense of humor. Devon smiled. "There you are! I thought maybe the soccer ball got the best of you." he said sarcastically. Not in a mean way, but a nice way. "So, I heard that you met that CHP officer." he said with a grin on his face. "Yeah! I did! It was so.........." she paused. "Wait how did you find out exactly?" She backed up slowly, like there was a murderer in front of her. "I'm the one that found out before Micheal even got to the house. Sergeant Getrear told me." She looked at Devon with a happy smile on her face. "Seriously? Well, in that case shouldn't mind if I.........." she stopped to think about what she was saying. She wanted to tell Devon the truth, but she promised Micheal that she wouldn't. "I already know what you're gonna say Liberty. I don't mind." he said sincerely. Just to make things funny, she said "Okay! So where's the safe?" Devon laughed to himself. "Very funny. I was talking about Ponch. I don't mind if you hangout with him". She ran over and hugged him. "Thank you so much!" That afternoon, Liberty called Ponch. This time he didn't answer. She tried two more times. Still no answer. She called Central, but the secretary said that he was at home. She tried calling his apartment one more time. "Hello?" Ponch finally answered. "Ponch! What's going on! I've been trying to call you!" she abruptly into the phone. She heard the muffled sound of Ponch coughing. "Ponch, is everything okay? You dont sound too good." she said worryingly. "I'm fine, kid. So...... what's up?" he laughed. "Well, I was going to ask if I could come over for a while. I was thinking that maybe.we could go to the water park?". Ponch didn't say a word. He was worried that if he let her come over, he would get her sick too. "Look, I don't think I can have you over here tomorrow. I might be sick, and I don't want you to get sick. It sounds like a lot of fun though, how about in a couple of days. By then I should bee feeling a lot better. Okay?" he said. "Ponch, are you sure everything's cool? I can pick up some cough syrup from the store if you want." she pleaded. She knew how Ponch was when he wasn't feeling well. He would deny any type of help, that is unless he really needed it. "Yeah, I suppose you can. It feels like there's a piece of sandpaper in my throat right now". She was shocked. Ponch doesn't usually like to take any kind of medicine. "Okay Ponch. I'll be right over". When she arrived at his apartment with the medicine, she knocked on the door, but no-one answered. She knocked again. Still no answer. She knew that it was rude to come in without permission, but she was sure that he wouldn't mind. But when she went through the doorway, she didn't hear or see Ponch anywhere. "Ponch? I brought the medicine. I'm setting it on the table." she said. "Ponch? Where are you?". She didn't get any answer. She didn't like where this was going. His apartment door was unlocked and he knew she was coming over. 'He wouldn't go to sleep if he knew I was coming over, would he?´ she thought. It didn't make any sense to her. She was starting to worry. Then, she looked in his bedroom. "Ponch! Ponch! Wake up!" she screamed. She checked for his pulse. He had none.

*Sorry this chapter is so short. I ran out of ideas. And sorry for leaving you on a cliff with that last part. I figured that I would wait until part 4 to tell you what happens to Ponch.
