The Heart Of The Ocean

The Beginning

Starlight stood along the shore listening to the sounds of the ocean. For she was a born a mermaid princess. she is human but with mermaid powers. She looked to the side then saw a boy with a hoodie completely covering his face. She looked away back at the sea then back at the boy but he was gone.

Starlight - that was strange.
Coral - everything okay sweetie? you look like you seen a ghost.
Starlight - im fine mother. its nothing.
Coral - okay then. come its time for dinner.

After dinner she went to her room and layed on her bed looking to the side at the waves from her window. She couldn't help but realise how she felt a connection to him, but couldn't figure out what it is. Then she drifted off to sleep.

Dreaming :
Edwin - starlight. starlight can you hear me?
Starlight - huh. who are you?
Edwin - you dont know yet. only you can break the curse.
Starlight - what curse? hello?
(edwin disappears from sight. starlight wakes up)

Starlight - weird. who's he? what curse? dont matter, just a dream.

she wakes up next morning and head to the shore. She breathes in the scent of the salty ocean waves. then jumps in.

Starlight - time to transform. Mermaid sirenix!

As she transforms, her hair turns purple with blue streaks, her legs form into a long tail with shades of purple and blue and silver. her eyes turn green and then her crown. her crown is sliver with pearls and a seashell. her necklace is white and blue and purple beads with her enchanted shell. her wings with a light blue and green shimmer.

Starlight - thats better. let me go for a swim. i need to clear my thoughts.

As shes swimming she notices the boy again, he is wearing a cape that covers him down to his ankles. all she saw is a fin, nothing more. than he disappears.

Starlight - seriously? i thought this swim was gonna help me clear my mind.

Being creeped out a little she swims back to shore change back human and head back home to her room.

( mother opens door)
Coral - is everything okay? you just went up here to your room. everything fine?
Starlight -everything is fine mom.
Coral - okay. well you wanna eat something?
Starlight - nah. im just gonna head to bed. tired from the swimming. ( i yawned so she get the point.)
Coral - goodnight my seashell. (walks out and closes door)

Starlight then falls asleep and starts dreaming.

Dreaming :
Edwin - starlight please help me.
Starlight - you again? with what?
Edwin - the curse. Break the spell curse.
Starlight - i dont know how. how you know me?
Edwin - ask your mother. (disappears)
Starlight - wait! dont go! (wakes up)

Starlight - again? ( sighs then goes back sleep.)

Starlight wakes up next morning and heads downstairs not realising her hair is still mermaid colors and her eyes were green.

Coral - morning my little seashell. um....
Starlight - whats wrong mom?
Coral - your hair is still mermaid form. so is your eyes.
Starlight - wait? what! (grabs the mirror on the table) But how!?
Coral - did something happen?
Starlight - no. not that i recal of.
Coral - here drink this. ( i hand her a cup of moon water)
(starlight drinks the cup of moon water and her hair and eyes go back normal)
Starlight - thanks mom.
Coral - no problem. mother knows best.
Starlight - wanna go for a swim? havent in a long time mom.
Coral - sure. i mightswell.

Both of them head to the shore and jump in the sea. as they were just in the ocean starlight already transformed, now its time for her mom to transform.

Starlight - your turn mom.
Coral - my turn. Mermaid Sirenix!

As she transforms, her hair was aqua green with golden streaks. her legs form into a long tail with shades of gold, green and blue. her eyes turn purple then her crown. her crown is gold with gems and a starfish. her necklace is white and blue and green beads with her enchanted starfish. her wings with a light purple and gold shimmer.

Coral - it feels good to be mermaid after all these years.
Starlight - you look nice mom! why havent you showed me your mermaid form and tell me about it in the past?
Coral - because dewdrop. when me and your dad met and we married etc... i got pregnant with you. there was one problem.
Starlight - what was it?
Coral - well every mermaid and merman was born with a tail. you werent. you started off with legs instead. so me and your dad had to hide our mer-self and raise you on land like a human until you were thirteen to let you know you were a mermaid. we didnt want to tell you about our past cause we didnt want to freak you out.
Starlight - oh. why dont we see him?
Coral - thats a great idea. lets visit the kingdom where you were born.

starlight and coral started swimming and swimming for about a few hours til they finally arrived moments later. the kingdom was beautiful.

Starlight - mom. this place is beautiful! oh can we stay a night? please?
Coral - fine. we can. this is the mystic kingdom. and there is also another thing you should know.
Starlight - dad?
Solar - starlight? is that you?
Starlight - yes father.
Solar - (i go and hug her) wow! look at you! all grown up and mermaid form. you look beautiful. i missed you my princess.
Starlight - missed you too dad.
Solar - coral is that you? (swims toward her)
Coral - yes my king. oh how i missed you so much dear. (both kissed)
Solar - i missed you more my sweet queen. oh, and starlight.
Starlight - yes dad?
Solar - there is someone you should meet.
Coral - yes my little seashell. we havent told you.
Lunar - hey sister. its my honor to meet my royal sister.
Starlight - mom? dad? care to explain.
Coral - your sister was born with a tail so she had to stay here with your dad and i was with you on land.
Starlight - i wish i knew. (starts tear up with a smile) this is amazing. a sister. a king for a dad. a queen for a mom. me as a princess. a kingdom. this is...
( solar, coral, and lunar have a concerned look on their face.)
Starlight - the best life ever! ( whole family hugs together)
Lunar - we are glad you are happy. i want to know all about it, the land.
Starlight - maybe you can come visit.
Lunar - mom. dad. is it possible?
Coral - actually. yes. just a little moon water and you can have legs for only 3 days. it is a temporary effect.
Solar - are you sure its a good idea? i mean....
Starlight - relax dad. we got this.
Coral - its getting late now.
Lunar - yeah. come on sis, imma show you the room waiting for you.
Coral - its nice to see them together again.
Solar - yes it is my sweet coral.

Starlight swimming with her sister to her room that she havent seen in years was gonna be exciting.

Starlight - oh. wow!
Lunar - you like it?
Starlight - i love it! its so similar the so different to the room i have on land.
Lunar - well settle in. get cozy. goodnight sister.
Starlight - okay. goodnight. (falls asleep).
