I think this was really good, especially the part where they were traveling. However, I think you the part about the coyote was a bit peculiar. It killed her brother, but it never seemed to notice the main character . . . .

Also, wouldn't they have heard about the evacuation? Wouldn't they have noticed the commotion outside? It just seems a bit odd to me that they never noticed beforehand . . .

I love this. You have amazing descriptions, and the introduction was very intriguing and very mysterious, which made me want to read more. The ending was also very shrouded and mysterious. Who or what exactly is that cat? What about that woman? I want to know what happens next! >.<

However, your characters aren't very developed, but I kind of let it go a bit since your main character is a cat. There are also no grammar mistakes as far as I can see, and the storyline is great and intriguing. Great job!
