Don't Say A Word {A Suicide Story}

Okay, so I'm staring a new series by request. A series about a suicidal teenage girl and the struggles that life has brought her. This story was partially created to help make people aware of how much a few single words can hurt someone very deeply, sometimes even hurt them enough to make them want to commit suicide. And occasionally, enough to make them actually do it. Stop Teen Bullying, save a few lives!! This story is going to be entered in the 2011 Watty Awards so vote, vote, vote, please!!

Name: Luna Scarlet Reece

Age: 16

Personality: Quiet, smart, loner, emo, kind, great pianist

Background: Lives alone her mother and brother. Been suicidal since age 11, 6th grade. Doesn’t know where her father is and doesn’t care. One sibling, brother named Damien Lucifer. Only two friends, original name: Aurora Gabrielle Johnson, likes to be called: Crimson Rose (Aurora can mean “rose” sometimes) and Lilith Rayne Wilder.

Personality: Fun loving, hyper, friendly, moody, emo, sociable, great at bass

Background: Live with his sister, Luna, and their mother. Not suicidal, but occasionally depressed. Doesn’t know where his father is, but want to find out. Unaware of why he doesn’t have a father. Many friends, but only one best friend, Ryuu Yoshi Kawagichi, and yes, he is obviously Japanese.

Name: Marissa Lynn Reece

Age: 35

Personality: Hard worker, loves cooking and cleaning

Background: Lives with her two children. Doesn’t speak of her ex-husband. Doesn’t have time for friends. Works early morning to late night nearly every night

Name: Aurora Gabrielle Johnson (a.k.a Crimson Rose)

Age: 16

Personality: Kind, loving, friendly, emo, caring

Background: ¼ Japanese on her father’s side. Lives with both parents. Only child. Has had to talk Luna out of suicide many, many times. Loves Luna with all her heart. Has a secret crush on Damien.

Name: Lilith Rayne Wilder (a.k.a Lily)

Age: 15

Personality: Friendly, fun loving, kind of popular, loves to help people, slightly emo, sarcastic, funny, great singer, a few IQ points shy of being a legal genius, low self-esteem, very low confidence

Background: Lives with her mother, father passed away when she was two, before he could have another child. Loves her friends to death. Has also had to talk Luna out of suicide very often. Has had a major crush on  Ry (She’s the only one who gets away with calling him that) since they were in pre-school together. Neither knows about the others’ crush

Name: Ryuu Yoshi Kawagichi (a.k.a Ry)

Personality: Similar to Damien, not moody or emo, generally a happy person

Background: Live with Mother and Father, no siblings. Many friends, best friend is Damien. Has had a crush on Lily (Only one who can call her Lily or she FLIPS out) since pre-school. Neither knows about the others’ crush
