Evelyn's POV:
I could hear voices although my vision was blurry.
I thought the best thing to do would be to pretend I am still unconscious.
Whoever it was sat themselves on the chair near 'my' mattress and began stroking my hair as if it were a cuddle blanket. I swore under my breath and acted like I was waking up after a long slumber in the worlds comfiest bed instead of a seedy mattress.
I then heard a young male voice,
"Ah sweetheart your awake now I see. You will have to refrain from using foul language as it's not ladylike. "
To which my reply was,
"I will say what I like when I like ok dickwadd?"
He went out the room and left the door open, I would have run off but my hands were cuffed to something so I couldn't, he then re-appeared with a bar of soap.
He then threatened to wash my mouth out with soap if he heard me say something that he deemed to be unladylike ever again. To which I said in a sweet voice " I see you have only brought one bar of soap, if you were my best friend you would have brought many as I have quite foul vocabulary at times, how unfortunate you came under-prepared."
He then hissed, "Be cheeky or sarcastic and the same thing will happen!"
He left the room again and locked the door this time, my miracle had disappeared.
I decided to daydream as that passes time quite well for me.
I turned so I was laying with my back to the door, bad choice thinking about it but I didn't really care. I managed to get an image of unicorns with rainbow doughnuts on their heads into my head which made me smile, it's something me and Jess would talk about. We had actually discussed unicorns before and had a serious debate about them, but we never got to finish as we got interrupted by the bell going for lesson.
I was about to drop off into a nice doze but it was interrupted by a sharp pricking in the middle of my back. I managed to turn so I was now laying flat on my back and saw the retreating figure of my kidnapper holding something in his hand, I couldn't quite see what it was.
My vision was swimming in and out of focus and was getting worse by the second.
A black haze is the last thing I remember before passing out into darkness.
