Before I could even blink his hands were on my waist and his lips were on mine
"What the hell!" I heard behind me
We immediately broke the kiss and I looked over and saw Justin
"Wow" Justin started walking off
"Wait Justin it's not-"
"I don't care Skylar" Justin cut me off
I hate when people do that
"What the hell are you even doing out here?" I yelled
"I think you forgot I live here to!"
Derek butted in "um.. I gotta go. I had fun Skylar I'll text you later"
I signed "me to. bye Derek"
Derek drove off and I looked over at Justin
"What's your problem Justin?"
"We break up and a week later your having guys picking you up and different guys dropping you off and just randomly kissing them!"
"Jake isn't a random guy! He's basically the only friend I have here!"
"Oh, now I bet Derek is to" Justin said mocking me
"I didn't kiss him! He kissed me!"
"Oh Yea that's any different"
"I was going to stop him but you went a head and did it for me now didn't you" I said rudely
"You know what whatever Skylar" without another word he walked back to his house
"You're acting like a child!" I yelled while he was walking
But he just ignored it stomping into his house
I was beyond confused, he broke up with me so why does he have a problem if I went out for one night
Justin
Seeing Derek on Skylar and kissing her made my blood boil.
It wasn't my idea to break up with her I had to, to protect her and her family from Richard
"Woah, Justin what's going on?"
"Nothing" I acted like he wasn't even there
"I warned you about her Justin"
"Richard just stop"
"No! I won't. I told you to stay away from people like her but Justin always has to have his way"
"If I did always have it my way I would have left a long time ago"
"And go where? I'm all you got left Justin"
I sunk my head down, sadly he was right
"I'm sorry uncle.."
"Just get up stairs Justin, Its late"
I let my head hang as I walked up stairs to my empty room

I walked in and put a fake smile on my face
"How was it?" Aubrey asked
"I had alot fun. I'm glad I went" I forced a smile
I said goodnight to every one and walked up stairs to my room still aggravated at Justin
He's so bipolar I couldn't stand it.
I felt my phone go off in my back pocket
Derek
"Hey sky. Still up to talk?"
"Yea I'm up. What's up?"
"Um..I'm sorry.. I shouldn't have kissed you"
"No it's okay, sorry about what happened" I replied
"I was thinking... Would you wanna do a double date with Jake and Gianna next, next Friday?"
"I would love you :)"
"Awesome! Goodnight Sky :)"
Hearing him call me that made me think of Justin. Which made me mad and confused all over again
"Goodnight Derek"
I put my phone on the charger and put it on my dresser
If Justin wants to be stubborn about everything then why not go out on a couple dates with Derek. Ya know just to see what happens.

The next week flew by and it was already Thursday. That whole almost 2 weeks leading up to the date, me Jake, Derek, and Gianna went every where together. The mall, the movies, the arcade, and restaurants.
We were all getting so close and I'm loving having friends again
Gianna was a little to close and flirty with Derek but i didn't pay attention to it. She was with Jake anyway
Derek and I called it official last Tuesday and I couldn't be happier to be done with Justin
He gave me a few glances and glares here and there but that was about it. I liked it that way though.
Like I said, that's what he wants
"Ya know, I really like Derek" Aubrey stated
"Hey me to" I laughed
"Girl you look sooo amazing" Jake said in his girl voice behind me
"Oh Yea .. Jake's here" dad interrupted me and Aubrey
I just laughed and shrugged it off like I always did when he acted like an idiot.
"Alright let's go!" Jake said walking ahead of me
We picked up our dates and headed out to the restaurant
"Table for 4?" We were greeted
"Yes" Jake smiled
"Hi I'm Kate, drinks and appetizers anyone?" She stated cheerfully as everyone sat down
"I want a water" I said "me to" everyone else agreed
"Okay" she smiled walking off
"She was nice" I said looking at Derek who was on his phone
"Oh yeah, Hey I'm going to the rest room I'll be right back" Derek kissed my cheek as he got up
Pretty sure he wasn't even listening but whatever
Me and Jake started talking again when Gianna interrupted
"Um I'll be right back"
After about 5 minutes me and Jake realized they both weren't back
"I'm gonna go to bathroom" I said getting up
Maybe I'll run into to him and see what's up
As I walked over to the bathroom area I noticed Gianna kissing someone. Then I looked closer
