Your POV:

I stood with my bags. My mom was ranting at her servants again. Her shrill voice filling the empty halls.

"OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!" She screams and I cover my ears.

She approaches me with an evil smile.

"Show Auradon that evil still rules." She smirks. That's the closest thing to a smile you could get with her.

I nod. Just like every Isle child, I want to impress my mother.

I hop into the back of the car and they drive off breaking the barrier with the pathway that magically appears.

I seen a few candies and cookies. How sweet, they think you could change an Isle Child with sweets. Well, guess what? I'm no dog in training.

///

When I arrived in Auradon, Mal, Carlos, Evie, and Jay greeted me.

Evie hugs me,"(f/n), it's good to see you again."

"You to, Evie."

Carlos was next and he shakes my hand.

I smile falsely and hug him instead.

"Good to see you, Carlos."

"You to, (f/n)."

Jay was next and he smiles at me.

"Auradon has changed you, Jay."

He ignores this and shakes my hand.

Mal was last, and she is on Ben's arm.

"Your Grace." I smile politely.

"I didn't know Isle's were proper."

"Try growing up with my mother." I growl.

"I can only imagine. Hope your stay in Auradon is a pleasant one."

He leaves and Mal turns to me.

"How's your mom?" she asks me.

"Executed another slave before I even left."

"The usual."

I nod.

"This is Doug. He's Dopey's son and will help you get to your dorm and figure your classes out as well as any sports you want to do."

"Are you serious? We all know I'm more of the book kind."

"Just an extra option."

Doug shows me around.

"Doug, is there a library where I could check library books out on Auradon's History? They didn't have any on the Isle."

"We do. It's also just down the hall from your room."

"Do I have a roommate?"

"You do, and she's nice."

"Alright, I'm trusting your judgement on this."

He knocks on a door, and a shy girl opens up.

"Y-Yes?"

"Jane, this is (f/n), your new roommate."

"Y-Your putting me with an Isle child!? No offence, (f/n)."

"Yes, I am."

When the door closes, Jane eyes me cautiously.

"Who's daughter are you?" She asks.

I show her the birthmark on my right wrist.

"The Red Queen's."

She gasps and takes a step back.
