"Ever since I could remember my time on my palm would always reset depending on someone's choices or my choices.

It's always been hard for me to find the love of my life and I don't know weather I'm torn that Marshall isn't my love and I hurt him or the fact that I'm in love with-"

I then stare at Jade and look away since I've never been with a girl and no one knows.

"That I'm in love with someone else and they arnt my soul mate." My voice then shakes.

"I didn't want this curse! I didn't ask for it!" I then get up and push the tabel.

I turn to face my dad in fit anger and yell

"Why couldn't you have met someone else and not put this burden on me!!" And with that I leave my dad in tears and Jade speechless.

*slams door*

I then scream and eventually collapse on my bed in pure anger and sob quietly.

*knock knock*

"Go away!!" I scream and throw my picture frame of my dog at the door making in shatter into tiny pieces.

And with that the door swings open and slams closed and the sound of the door lock.

With an angry and in tears Jade.

"That was no way to treat someone whos wife died! How could you be so cruel to the man who is there all the time for you! Who had to raise a girl, a girl! And he's a man! How would he know about your cycles!-" she was now in tears, Jade was never known to cry.

I guess she hid so much behind her "fuck off" and "I'll murder you" attitude.

So without her finishing I pulled her face to me and kissed her with all my heart.

And at that moment my palm began to throb.

I knew that meant that she was my soulmate.

She pulls away.

"Alice...you don't know how lucky you are to have him. My mother's so up in her ass that she doesn't care for me and my dad is dead!" She sits on my bed and puts her face in her hands.

I then get near her and rub her legs as I kiss her neck.

"Baby please" I then nibble her ear.

"Alice stop.." She then moans slightly.

"Okay look" I then grab her hand and put it in my palm.

"My time says 00:00:00 which means your my love." I look deeply in her eyes.

"Yeah but your not mine.." She then shows me her palm and its counting down from 5yrs." She then looks up at me.

"I love you, my heart truly does but I didn't have the heart to tell you..when she comes into my life I won't resist and I'll go with her.." She then gets up and starts walking out.

"Appreciate what you have.." She says without looking at me.

"Please don't leave Jade...please" I then feel the warm tears falling.

"Please don't leave like my mother did.."

And everything goes silent.
