A/N

The order in which I’m filling these requests is completely at random, not because I favored one request over the other, m’kay? ;)

SLASH. Rated for language and something involving somebody’s mouth…

Happy October, everyone! Follow my drabbles' author notes as fraidy-cat Melissa debates on whether she should go to the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. I'm just the girl who loves horror but doesn't particularly favor being chased around theme parks with chainsaws. /SOBSOBSOB/

LOL, also,all of you kept trying to convince me I’m good at smut. Stop lying, you suck-ups. ;_;

Okay, so the request I chose today is by Cataclysm. I won't post the specific request because I don't want to spoil it. Baha, I was reading your 'worst mistakes to make onwattpad’ and number one is author’s notes.

Look at how much and how many times I break that rule. ^ ^ ^

STEP OFF MY GRILL, YO. But proceed downwards to read drabble # 1. Thank you.

Fraidy Cat

River was always curious about the boy that worked down at the horror shop.

He always looked unhappy, every single time he happened to pass by on his way home from school. They both attended the same high school, both were the same age, both had certain classes in common, yet they’ve never spoken to each other—not even once. In fact, he’d only heard about Sasha through reputation. Kids steered clear as he walked down the hallways, despite standing at a mere five feet, and rumors spread all around town about kids that ended up in the hospital for just looking at him wrong. Everyone was scared stiff of his presence, nobody had the guts to even stand within the same vicinity of Sasha except for his best friend Rocky.

And after hearing all this, River had no problem pushing his tail between his legs and staying the hell out of his way, even after noticing him on his way home from school everyday, standing on the other side of the store window. He had absolutely no problem. Except…one day he passes by and sees something odd, something he hadn’t seen before when observing Sasha’s presence.

A smile.

The shop was empty that day, as fall started to sink in, and Sasha was less focused on working and more focused on watching the small TV they had set up. It was a horror movie—the kind River absolutely hated—and it was just at the part when one of the female characters was being slaughtered.

River cringed as the blood spurt into the air and Sasha’s grin grew.

/X/x/X/x/X/x/X/

River continues to watch Sasha. At school. On his way home. Whenever he could, really. At first he thinks it’s because he’s curious, but lately he’s thinking it may be because he’s stupid. Because, honestly, he must have a complete death wish to fulfill.

But the first time he actually talks to Sasha is completely by mistake. His parents were laid back vegetarians that frequently ran out of food and usually left most of the chores to him, and he was usually the one that made the grocery trips each week. Despite that, he grew up a fairly happy child in a middle class home, always being the last person to complain. His parents acted like overgrown teenagers from time to time, sure, but they never made him feel like he wasn’t good enough. That’s more than most kids can say about their parents. So he did what his parents asked of him, went out and got tofu based products galore, never made much of a fuss about the fact that they tasted God awful.
