A Team Rocket Story (Name in Progress)

Chapter 5

We soon made it back to the base, we unloaded our Pokemon and went directly to the boss, "Sir, I've got some news for you!" I said as we walked in.

Giovanni watched as we walked in, "How were they?"

I smiled, "We brought in 36 Pokemon today. They didn't fail, and we didn't need any robots whatsoever."

"Really now?" Giovanni asked, and I nodded, "Well I'm glad to hear your first mission was a success. Apparently Houston and Jessie aren't doing so good,"

"May I asked what happened so far?"

"They've almost been caught because of Jessie. She didn't listen to Houston and blew their cover." He frowned, "I feel like only one of these groups is going to survive, and that's you three."

I smiled then looked to James and Meowth. They seemed pretty happy, "That's great to hear sir."

"Is that all you wanted, Tessie?" He asked.

"Actually I was wondering if there were any other missions available?"

Giovanni took to his computer, looking through all the tasks available, "Well.. There's nothing that you'd really be of used to, Tessie. The are some lower rank jobs, but nothing that would be of interest to you. Go ahead and do as you please for now. If something comes up I will tell you."

I nodded, "Thank you, sir!" And at that we left.

"So what now?" Meowth asked as we walked through the halls of the facility.

I thought for a second. What could we do now? I started thinking about something that could help James and Meowth out, but what...

"Uh, Tessie?" James started. I raised an eyebrow in response, "Would you mind helping me out with my Pokemon? I'd like some new ones.. If you'd be willing to help?" He rubbed the back of his head, shyly.

I smiled slightly, "Sure! Come with me, I probably own some Pokemon you can have.."

We walked through the base until we got to the Pokemon center of ours. I went to one of the Pokemon keeper machines, put in my information and started scrolling through the lists of Pokemon I had caught.

James stood behind me watching, "Wow... You've caught a lot of Pokemon..."

I nodded, "That's what happens when you're a class A thief." I continued scrolling, "So what kind of Pokemon do you want James?"

James hesitated, "Uh..."

"Something strong and powerful!" Meowth answered for him, "Oh and loyal!"

I smiled, "I've got a few Pokemon just like that." I withdrew four different Pokemon, "Alright let's see who we've got here!" I handed a poke'ball to James.

"Okay..." He threw the poke'ball into the air and out came a Rapidash, but instead of red flames, they were grey, "Whoa! A Shiny Rapidash?"

I nodded, "Caught her while I was on a mission on Cinnabar island."

James reached up to pet Rapidash, which scared me at first, Rapidash doesn't trust anyone firsthand; to my surprise, She let him pet her, "She's so sweet..." He smiled as Rapidash pushed her nose to his face.

"Wow... That's a first..."

James looked at me, "What is?"

"Rapidash doesn't usually like new people...I'm impressed..." I laughed.

Meowth stepped in, after petting Rapidash a few times, "What's next?"

I gave James another poke'ball and out popped out a Bisharp, "This is Bisharp. I caught him as a Pawniard and raised him to what he is now." I raised a fist and Bisharp bumped it with his hand along with a small cry.

Meowth jumped back, "He looks dangerous!"

I shook my head, "Only when he has to be.."

James approached Bisharp with a smile, "Hello Bisharp!" He held a hand out, and being as friendly as he is, Bisharp took James' hand and shook it.

Meowth walked to to Bisharp and looked up at him, "He looks healthy, and strong.."

"How can you tell, Meowth?" James asked.

"Look at the blades around his center part. See how shiny, thin, and sharp they are? Usually Only Bisharp with blades like those are the Alpha Bisharps in the wild." He explains, "Bisharps usually lead groups of Pawniards in the wild."

My eyes widened, "Oh wow... Even I didn't know that..."

Meowth stared at me, "You never knew and you owned one?"

"Alright, here's the third one!" I quickly gave James a third poke'ball, ignoring Meowths comment.

James opened that poke'ball and out came a Gabite, "A Gabite?"

"Yeah why?" I asked and pet it as it walked over to me.

"It's just.." He started, "All the Pokemon we've seen you own are all final evolutions... And Gabite can still evolve..."

I nodded, "I started catching more and more Pokemon and some, I didn't have enough time to evolve, so there are quite a few unevolved Pokemon.."

Gabite then walked over to Meowth, and while it wasn't looking, rudely bit it's tail. "Eeeyyaaaahhhh!!" Meowth yelled and attempted to run away but Gabite picked him up and brought him to James, "Hey! I'm not a toy!" He growled as James took him away from Gabite.

Gabite snickered slightly, and came back and hid behind me, "Sorry about that... He's a joker.."

Meowth growled, rubbing his tail, "And the next one?"

I gave James the last poke'ball and he let that Pokemon out, "A Teddiursa?"

"Awe it's a cutie!" Meowth cooed.

I smiled, "Yeah.. I thought she was cute and you might like her!" To be honest there was more to the reason I'm giving her to James than that. I knew she was close to evolving; just so James could have a kind of surprise. Teddiursa seemed to take a liking to James right away. After seeing where she was at and who was around, she instantly walked over and clung to James's leg. She smiled and made playful growling sounds as she hugged him, "She seems to like you, James..." I laughed.

James picked her up, and she just continued to hug him, "I guess so." He smiled and hugged her back.

"Alright... So after looking at the Pokemon I picked out for you, will you take them?" I asked him, petting Gabite as he slowly came out from behind me. Bisharp and Rapidash both came up next to James as well.

"Wait you mean all of them?" James' eyes widened, "I thought you were going to make me choose?"

I raised an eyebrow, "No, I'm being nice to you and donating some Pokemon to you because you don't know how to catch Pokemon."

James frowned a bit, "Wow, rude.."

I laughed, "Just take them. They all seem to like you." Suddenly all the Pokemon started making sounds, agreeing with me, "See?"

He smiled, "Well sure.. I'd love to take all of them! Thank you so much Tessie!"

I smiled, "Be nice to them. They're good Pokemon." Rapidash walked over to me and licked my cheek, while Gabite hugged me, as did Bisharp and Teddiursa. I smiled and hugged them all back, "Be good, and listen to James. He's a good bad guy." I said to them. It was kind of sad giving them off to another trainer, but he was my partner anyways, so I could still see them anyways.

They all walked over to James and Meowth. James returned them to their poke'balls and he smiled at me, "I'll take good care of them, I promise."

I smiled,then suddenly grabbed his shirt collar, "You better, or else I'll take it upon myself to personally get revenge for my own Pokemon."

James nodded quickly out of fear, "Y-yes m'am!"

I let go of his shirt, "Alright. Good." I started walking off to my dorm room in the base, "I'm going to get ready to hit the clock, see you two tomorrow."

Suddenly James grabbed my wrist, "Wait Tessie!" I suddenly turned around, giving him a glare for stopping me, he flinched and looked away, "I'm sorry,b-but, would you mind having a Pokemon battle with me? J-just so I could try out your Pokemon?"
