The Dugout

Ok let me get something straight right off the bat. I am my own person I don't need anyone else taking care of me, I'm not a girlie girl and don't EVER tell me to not be hard mentally on myself because that's the way I function. Maybe once in a while someone should get me out of my thoughts but only when I'm thinking about my dad. He left after my mom went into labor with Penelope . You can tell when I'm thinking about it because my nose scrunches up and my eyebrows furrow. Anyway I moved to Carson City Nevada  from Pueblo Colorado. I live with my younger sister Penelope ,my older brother Israel but we call him Izzy , my mom  and my step dad Greg and my grandma Vickie. We recently moved in right next to Eagle Valley Middle School which is where Penelope will be going for the next two years and then you go down to the middle of town by Walgreens and the Bank. and there is my lovely school called Carson High. Izzy and I will be going there me as a Sophomore and Izzy as a Junior.

We brought our four Dogs Mugsy, Maggie, Sammy, and my best friend Dutch.

We also have a Cat named Maverick. He can be really annoying when he wants something.

By the way I'm Caydee, Caydee Farnworth but they call me Farny and well I play softball,Basketball, Track and Volleyball. Mainly softball though. Im a pitcher and Short and Third and I play a little first which is weird cuz I'm not tall at all. Literally I'm 5'4 and a sophomore in High School.

I raced Izzy upstairs to see which bedroom would be mine. I quickly got to the last door opened and shut it trying to keep Izzy out which didn't work sending me flying against the wall behind the door. I heard Izzy howl with laughter as I got up punching him in the gut.

"This is my room get out" Izzy says still laughing

"No way I got here first" I say laughing back

Izzy and I have always been competitive with Grades ,sports, dinner table spots, Who showers first, Working out all that jazz since I was born. We are still really close though.

Izzy and I go running every morning.

Which tomorrow is the first day of school and I will be getting up at 4:30 to go running with Izzy. I also have Varsity tryouts

"Race ya for it" Izzy says spitting back at me

"Fine after dinner " I say

What have I gotten myself into Izzy was obviously the fastest guy in the school at Pueblo High. I was easily one of the fastest girls there. But nothing compared to Izzy. We'll see how this goes.

*@ Dinner Table*

" Dinner!" My mom shouts

I race into the kitchen Izzy at my side I want the spot next to mom but Izzy wants it too. I get there first with Penelope next to me and Izzy on the other side

"Why do I always get to be in the middle?" Penelope whines

"That's the way it works scrub" Izzy says laughing

Izzy calls me and Penelope scrubs, mostly Penelope though because he's busy calling me Rae. My middle name is Rae if you didn't know.

"Don't call me that" Penelope whines even louder

"Why do you always whine Penny?"I ask laughing
