Ever heard of "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad. Well, I have to read it for class, and it is similar to BioShock. It is about how people can convert to 'savages' because of greed. It pretty much takes place in Africa. BioShock is similar pretty much because of Andrew Ryan letting power get to his head and how the splicers convert to being savages and stuff, and how Ryan and Fontaine are fighting for control of Rapture. Unless you don't like dense books, you should read "Heart of Darkness." It's pretty good, but it's 'racist' so beware. xD (Note: it was written when Europe had control of Africa.)
