So, chapter two is up. Yay! I'm really excited about this story, but I'm kinda winging it. Therefore, I'll gladly except any suggestions on what you might like to see, well, read in this story. Oh, and also I forgot to mention earlier that I'm righting this on my phone, so I can't do casts, italic, or bold. So, / / is italic, ' ' this is bold ( the // and the ' ' also can represent what they're supposed to according to proper grammar,) and you can imagine what my characters look like (but I will give you names for you to look up online if you wish. :D )

'THE PLAN'
'STEP ONE: TRICK KATE INTO COMING
STEP TWO: INVITE JACOB
STEP THREE: ORDER YOGURT
STEP FOUR: FAKE SICK
STEP FIVE: MAKE SURE THEY STAY THERE WITH EACHOTHER AFTER I LEAVE
STEP SIX: THEY'RE A COUPLE!! <3 <3'
Yep. I had a plan (made on the spot,) and it was going to work. Or, so I hoped. Jacob could refuse my offer, Kate could fake sick aswell, we could all actually get sick... I continued to list all the possibilities of what could go wrong with my plan all the way to school. It was somewhat difficult with Katie blabbing the whole way there.
"So, I was like, 'you better not, Kimmi!' And she was like, 'you can bet I will, Scotts!' So I resounded with 'I'd like to see you try, Summers.' And I walked away with my head held high, and a 'huge' smirk," Katie ranted proudly.
Before you ask I had finished my list of possible disasters from bad yogurt, to the apocalypse, and decided to listen. The end of her story was pretty interesting and I couldn't help but wish I had listened to Kate's story because the begging was probably just as captivating. For my best friend had stood up to Kimmi Summers.
Every high school had it's own "it" girl, and ours was Kimmi. We also had our resident "it" guy, and of course, a bad boy. The most sought after boys at Orson High. Kimmi, of course, dated our "it" guy: Derek King. Although, I'm pretty sure she wishes she was with Lucas Johnson, the bad boy. She also flirted with all of poor Derek's closest friends, Nate Callaway, and Matt Samuels. The trio (Nate, Matt, and of course, Derek,) were all the star players of the Orson High Basketball Team. Nate was the shooting guard, and Matt was the pick, while Derek was the point guard.
Basketball being my absolute favorite sport, I knew all of these positions and they're jobs. Actually, I was the pick on my own (undefeated champion) basketball team. That's when I ran into someone.
Kate had stopped gossiping, and stared whose eyed, and mouth agape at the ride stranger. "Hey," I said looking up at the face belonging to the body blocking my path, "watch were y-" I cut myself off immediately when I saw who it was.
/Lucas Johnson.../
Oh my God. I just ran into Lucas Johnson! He's gonna kill me! Or make me watch helplessly as he murdered my family. Poor Joe. /Say something!/ I thought to myself. /Say anything! Save all those you hold dear, and talk!/
"I definitely have no family what so ever for you to kill," I said as nonchalantly as I could manage with the most dangerous guy at our school standing in front of me, which wasn't very convincing. I've never been able to lie very well. Last time I tried was in kindergarten. My teacher, Mrs. K, had asked how many cookies I had eaten, and I said two while I had eaten four or five. I got hives, my face got all blotchy, and I was sweating like crazy. So, that is precisely why I was trying it out now. I thought maybe he'd feel bad. Unfortunately for me, I was too scared to worry about lying. If only I'd stayed home a little longer. Then I'd love to see tomorrow. Stupid spider.
Seeing as I was temporarily lying sickness immune, I just decided to roll with it. "Infact, you're the only person I've ever spoken to in my life," I said as if it was totally believable that I had never said a word to anyone and raised myself, especially since he saw Kate and not to mention probably heard her talking to me before.
"Really?" he scoffed. He could have at least been polite. "I find that extremely difficult to believe," he smirked at me, waiting for my "witty" comeback.
"Well that's just to bad for you," I taunted. Shock hit me hard at what I had said. What was I thinking? I'm talking to Lucas Johnson! I mentally slapped myself for probably endangering the lives of anyone who's ever spoken to me even farther, if that's possible, and continued my rant. "It's the truth, I was raised by dolphins, but Mom Dolphin, Dad Dolphin, and even little Joe Dolphin have passed on," I said bowing my head as if in respect, and had to refrain from tossing myself down a flight of stairs for mentioning Joe.
I nodded to the notorious Lucas Johnson, and walked off happily. I probably disturbed him to the point of him not wanting to come close enough to me to murder me. Then again, maybe all I did was make things worse for myself. Either way, first encounter survived. Hopefully, there wouldn't be a second.
Katie stared at me in disbelief. I was a total wuss. Scared of everything, worried about everything, and never, and I mean /never,/ left my comfort zone. Yet here I was, walking away, still breathing, from the best street fighter in Huntington Beach, California. He was fierce, mean, relentless, though, but most of all, he /never/ lost. Ever.
"What the heck, Soph!" Katie exclaimed as soon as we were out of hearing range.
"I don't know what you're talking about," I shrugged innocently.
"Okay, seriously. Why can you low so perfectly!? Well actually," she said, "those were some sorry excuses for lies, but you delivered them very well, and I want to know why!'' she said grumpily stomping her foot.
"I think I was so petrified that I decided there were worse things than lying," I stated bluntly. Although, I was quite unsure myself. Why /had/ I been able to stand up to him?

So, ya. I hope you guys liked it. I know it was shorter than Chapter One, but I've been cleaning my room against my will. All. Day. Long. Yes, it's that messy. Anyway, I live in Orange County, so I know all about it, and no, there is no such place as Orson High, but I liked the name and wanted to know places that are actually real to put in this story (besides Orson High School that is, OHS for short :D .)
