Chapter Twenty-Nine

Start from the beginning

“I guess you like it then?” Jasper asked, I realised I had stopped so I ran to catch up with Jasper

“How did you do it?” I asked more in disbelief

“Dedication I guess, I started to build it when I was a pup, when I got my pack we all had the same vision” Jasper smiled proudly

We got down to the edge of the town. A werewolf approached us; I had a feeling that he was Jaspers Beta. He had brown hair and brown eyes, he was the same height as me six foot two.

“Hey Maurice” Jasper hugged his Beta. That was weird to say the least. Normally the relationship between an Alpha and Beta is one of power not friendship.

“I'm going to show Logan to my house, he's the one that will help you train the squad. I'm going to introduce him to my family” Jasper sounded excited; I didn’t know he had a family either. I didn’t think any of them did, that was stupid of me.

The Beta offered his hand, and I shook it “Nice to meet you Maurice” I nodded.

“Same to you” Maurice smiled “He has four beautiful daughters and a lovely mate”

“Can’t wait to meet them” I confessed eagerly waiting to meet them

“Do you like what we’ve done with the town?” the Beat asked eagerly

“Yes, it is more than I expected, I thought you guys lived in huts and had poor sanitation but this… wow it is really something else” I smiled

“Good, that’s what we were going for. This place is restricted though, we don’t like a lot of people coming here, especially the other Alpha’s except for Alpha Koran” Maurice said “One time another Alpha came here, we were rebuilding for months” he had sadness in his voice

“But that was a while ago, I'm not letting anyone else come here” Jasper sounded angry “Did you refill my medicine cabinet while I was away? I'm starting to feel weird”

“Yes, I refilled it with your medicine, do you need to go on a higher dose?” the Beta sounded concerned

“I think so. I’ll check with someone later” Jasper waved off the subject, he sounded like he didn’t really like talking about it too much

We came up to a two story building on a platform. We walked up the stairs and Jasper unlocked the house.

“Jasper?” his blonde hair blue eyed mate looked at Jasper. Her hair was shiny to look at and reached down to her waist.

“I'm home” he smiled, his mate ran into his arms crying

“I haven’t seen you in so long Jasper” she sobbed into his chest her arms wrapped around his neck "I didn't know when I was going to see you again"

“I know, I'm so sorry” he put his chin on the top of her head

“I thought your brothers did something to you” she pulled away looking at his face “Did they?” she asked unsure

“Yes but Logan helped me out” he motioned to me

“Thank you so much” she came over and hugged me “Thank you for keeping him safe”

“No problem” I ran my hand up and down her back to comfort her as she cried some more.

She pulled away going back to Jasper side “Logan is my nephew” he told her

“Of which brother?” she asked cautiously

“Peter, he was one of Peter’s two sons” Jasper told her
