Is This Love?

Chapter 3 - First Date

Wow still taking in all that has happened in the last hour. I have a date with the most hottest guy on the planet. After the call had ended. I went upstairs and had a quick shower. Then I chose my dress to wear for the 'date'. I chose a coral colured lacey strapless dress that came just above my knees, coral bow skinny heel with a silver anklet that my best friend Eleanor had gifted me. To finish with, I put on a silver heart pendant around my neck and a pink butterfly bracelet on my wrist. I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked ugly. I've never loved myself. I thought I was always a mistake.

'Your a big unexpected mistake'.

That voice kept ringing inside my head. I dont know why it just did. But, I put all that aside and started putting my makeup on. I lightly put on pink eyeshadow,eyeliner,mascara,foundation, and some lipgloss. Oh no it was 7:50, 10 minutes left till he comes. I grabbed my phone,keys and lipgloss and stuffed it inside my pink diamante clutch bag.

I went downstairs and as if on time somebody knocked on my door. I opened it to be greeted by those same chocolate eyes. James. He was wearing a black shirt,black blazer with smart trousers and a silver loose bracelet chain hanging on his wrists. He looked hot!!

James said, "Hey beautiful." 

I replied ," Hey." 

"Right are you ready to go?" 

"Yeah let's go."

He led me over to his black Audi and opened the door for me. What a frickin gentlemen. He sat in his seat and we drove off. I asked if I could put the radio on and he said sure. So I put it on and the song Best Song Ever - One Direction came. Because this song came on I went from normal mode to crazy fangirl mode. I started singing the whole way through the song and when it finished I pouted sadly.  

James chucked and said," Big fan are you?" 

I blushed and said," Massive!"

Finally the car ride was over and I stepped outside of the hot stuffy air into the cool nights summer breeze. In front of me was, a fancy restaurant which had 'The Delaunay' emblazoned at the top. It looked really beautiful as it overlooked a sea view. Wow really posh.

Me and James checked into the amazayn restaurant (see what I did there lol :P) I found out the he had reserved a table and all. After that, we went and sat at the table and in front of me,on the table, I saw a bunch of fresh smelling flowers put on a vase and rose petals sprinkled all over the table. It seriously looked like I was in a movie.  

James grinned at me and said, " Seeing as it is our first date, I wanted to make it really special."

I said, "Awww thanks you didn't have to do that."

Then a waitress came upto us and asked us what we would like to order. I ordered the chicken breast with a side order of salad and spiced wedges and James had ordered the salmon fillet with potato salad. While we were waiting for our food to arrive, me and James had been talking about life. He asked me a bit about my life and my parents. Obviously, I couldn't tell my real life so I made up a load of nonsense and instead said that both my parents have died in a car crash and had no other relatives. It hurt saying that because what if my parents were alive.

'What if' thats the question I have been asking myself my whole life. 'What if' my parents were here with me, 'what if' I had a loving family. What if, ughh I hated my life so much.

Then I was snapped back to reality by James. I asked him about his family life and learned that he had both parents and a sister called Jessica who is 13. After that, our food arrived and started to tuck in also talking about our like & dislikes and other random things.

When we finished eating, James payed for the food and then asked me if I wanted to go on a walk and I said of course. So we set off on a long walk and it was silence. Not awkward silence but, peaceful silence. When we reached the part when we were in front of the sea James leaned in to me. He pressed his soft red lips onto my pink plump lips. At first, I didn't know what was happening but then responded. It was like fireworks exploding inside our mouths.

Little did I know that this was the biggest mistake of my life.
