Too Many Secrets

-Mai POV-

I laughed, "Wow. So Minhyuk really lives in a world of his own, huh?"

He shaked his head, "You have no idea. That kid is something else. Wonho too."

"Wonho's cute though." I said.

"Yeah but he screams like a girl."

We laughed.

I sighed, "It feels nice catching up with you, I seriously never thought I'd ever talk to you again. Hence see you."

He smiled lightly, "Yeah... me neither."

The rest of the ride was awkwardly quiet, Jooheon was on his phone as my eyes were on the road. It wasn't until we arrived at the daycare.

"Better Days?" He read the boarder.

"Yep." I unstrapped my seat belt.

The both of stepped out of the vehicle and headed towards the center.

I was a bit nervous someone would recognize Jooheon but no one did. I'm surprised.

"How old is your kid?" He asked.

"He's 4." I answered.

"Aw~ so young. Is he as cute as you?"

I blushed, "He's way cuter than me."

"I don't believe you. Jinjja?" He said.

I nod, "Wait until you see him. He's very friendly."

He chuckled, "I'm so excited now."

We arrived at the front desk and I signed in, moments later I was allowed inside, Jooheon followed.

Asher was laying down on the small bed in the nursery room. He had a hot towel over his head, I immediately went over to him, "Honey are you ok?"

He opened his eyes slightly, "Mm.." he groaned.

How did he get sick? Did he eat something spoiled?

I looked at the nurse, "What's wrong with my son?" I asked.

Nurse: Don't worry mam. He just had a minor tummy ache. I recommend you have him checked by a doctor in case he needs medicine.

I nod, "Yeah of course. Have you given him anything though?" I asked.

Nurse: Just antibiotics.

"Ok, thank you. I'm taking him now." I said.

Nurse: Is this the father?

"What?" I said in confusion.

She eyes Jooheon.

Jooheon: Oh no. I'm not. Heh..

I feel so uncomfortable ㅠ ㅠ

Nurse: Hm. You two make a cute couple.

Why would you say that?

Jooheon: *chuckles* I know right.

I looked at him wide eyed.

He winked.

The nurse chuckled lightly and continued with her duties.

I remained staring at Jooheon.

I shaked my head.

He scoffed, "It's not my fault I'm handsome."

"Oh whatever. Excuse me."

He moved aside as I bent down and caressed my babies head, "Sweety, we're going to the doctors now." I whispered.
