Micah awoke with a startled gasp, as a man in a trench coat appeared in her room. He had dirty blonde hair and shocking green eyes. He looked as though he was 19. Yet, he was staring at her with a look, that said that he had the knowledge of the universe with him, something he's had for ages. Micah knew that she should be terrified, but this man didn't scare her. Maybe it was because she had been ready to die for the past two months, or maybe it was because she just didn't know how to care about anything anymore. Whatever the reason, when the man started to speak, and for the first time these past two months, she didn't want to shut everyone out.

"Hello Micah," he said to her, and she almost forgot to question why he knew her name. "I am Kiran. I am an angel sent from God. and I need your help." She started to worry now. A man in a trench coat had appeared in her room, and she had only started to question it when he said he was an angel? Well, we can see how screwed up I am, Micah thought to herself.

Kiran? I've never heard of him. And we were taught the angels and their higharchy in class. I thought to myself. He isn't in the Cherubs, the Archangels, Thrones, or just plain Angels. I'll give him about five minutes to explain before I kick his a--

"Before you finish that thought, you must know, I am not a Cherub, Archangel, Thrones, or a 'plain Angel'. I am a Seraphim. And you cannot kick my, well, you know." Micah's jaw dropped open. He knew exactly what she had been thinking. Does this mean what he said could possibly be true? She just couldn't believe it. After two months of horrible suffering and pain, an angel appears to her? She had already given up any faith that she had in God. Or, whomever people believe in. She thought that no one could be crule enough to do what this God would have had to do to her. Had to have taken away her--

She shut her eyes tight and started to dig her nails into her palms.

"Micah. Please, don't do this." She looked up to see Kiran grabbing her hands, stopping her from clawing herself, while staring into her eyes. His eyes looked farmilliar. She couldn't shake the feeling. The feeling of wonder, something she hasn't felt since the last time she looked into the eyes of--

She tried to dig her nails into her palms again, but as her nails dug into flesh, she found that it wasn't hers. She looked and saw that she was clawing Kiran's hands. I'm sorry, she thought to herself, not able to say it aloud.

"It's alright Micah. I'd rather have you shed my blood than your own. I have been sent down to explain a few things to you. First off, God didn't leave you to suffer. He didn't take away --"

She shut Kiran out. She didn't want to hear this. She couldn't. She's stayed silent herself these past two months, and she just wished that everyone would do the same. She couldn't do this. She tried to push Kiran away. She didn't want him here. He had to go. He needed to leave. She didn't want him here!

"Micah stop!" The authority in his voice, caused her to shake out of her blank state, and she realized that she had been hitting him. I'm so sorry, she thought to herself again, this isn't like me. "I know it isn't like you Micah. I have come here to help you. You need to take my help. One day you may even speak again." Did he think that she wasn't able to speak? She was quite able. She just couldn't. She wouldn't. The only person she wanted to speak to was gone and now she--

No. Stop it Micah. Focus. So called Angel is in your room, focus on that. If he can hear my thoughts, does that mean I can have a conversation with him, withought having to actually speak? I mean, that totally breaks my vow of silence.

"Micah, yes I can hear your thoughts. And vow of silence?" He smirked at me. Don't smirk at me! That just made him laugh more. Rude. "You're calling an angel rude? Now that's not very nice." He teased me. Teased me? I don't even know you. "You have no idea how untrue that is Micah." He stared at me with a foreboding in his eyes, and for the first time in two months, staring into someone's eyes didn't make me flinch. Even if they were the eyes of Kiran.
