Sean James is known as the notorious player around campus, never failing to break a girl’s heart. It’s also a huge lie. No one knows that Sean is hurting, that he’s lashing out for something he blames himself for that happened three years ago. No one knows that Sean isn’t at all who he pretends to be, and that he hates himself for what he does to the girls every single day. But, he can’t stop doing it. That is until he kisses Cassidy Williams out of spite. She’s the only one that rejects him, and he loves it. So, even though he hates her just as much as she hates him, he can’t stay away. It’s refreshing to be rejected for a change. Little does Sean know that Cassidy will be the key to letting the guilt drop finally setting him free. With the help of Cassidy, he will realize that not everything can be controlled and that not everything is his fault.
