Chapter One

I was the girl who sat alone at the back of the room, quiet, face shoved into a book or a notebook I always carried, never a day without them. One day as I was sitting there the door opened to reveal the principal of the school Ms. Beachward or as everyone refers to her as "Ms. Bitch" , she was a very cruel person and the worst principal yet. I ignored her presence seeing as she only brought in a new boy. I knew all he had to do was introduce himself and then sit down I ignored his introduction and kept on reading. My head shot up upon hearing the sound of the chair being moved to my left, I looked up only to see the new boy sitting there with a straight face. I was confused as to why he was sitting next to me when he could've sat next to Veronica seeing as there was an empty chair next to her. A hand was waved infront of my face so I quickly looked up and saw the new guy staring at me with an amused look, I blushed and looked back down quickly and continued reading. He tapped my shoulder so I looked over at him and saw him staring at me with a blank look on his face like he had when he first sat down. I quirked and eyebrow at him questioningly wondering why he tapped my shoulder if he was only gonna stare , he snapped out his haze and gave me a lopsided smile a smile that looked so fake, I've used that smile so much I knew it wasn't real the moment I saw it . He went to say something when we heard the sound of heels coming our way, our heads turned to see Veronica the Queen Bee of the school. Veronica was my #1 bully she was the only person I was afraid of at this hell, she knew all of my weaknesses and used them at her advantage. I've learned to stay clear of her and listen to whatever she said because she ruled this school with an iron fist and I couldn't do anything about it.
