Friday-Home Getting Ready For Dance

(y/n) POV

I checked my phone. A little part of me wanted him to text me saying that he was going, but I knew that it would most likely not happen. I then looked at the last text the (b/f/n) sent me that said she would be at my house in five minutes.........It has been twenty minutes since that text. Where is she? Then I see a her Dad's car pull into my drive way. I see her get out of the car and then try to hurry over to me.

She is wearing a purple dress that was about to her knees. Matching high heels that she is clearly was having trouble walking in. She has a skinny black belt around her waste with black sparkles on it. In her left hand is a black purse. Her hair in tied up in a mess bun but it looks cute. There was a purple hair clip that was holding it all together. When she finally got to me she is out of breath.

"Sorry......about....that....(y/n).....there....was.....a lot.....of....trafic," she manage to say.

"It's fine as long as you got here in the end is what counts," I said with a smile.

"You look really nice," (b/f/n) said.

"Thanks. It took me a while to put this together," I replied.

I was wearing a (f/c) dress that went down to my knees. I had matching high heels and purse that sparkled in the moonlight (imagine anything else that you want. Being really uncreative about your outfit). My hair was down with a (f/c) hair piece to pull my shorter hairs out of my face.

"All right! Now that I'm all better lets get going!" (b/f/n) said jumping in the air running back to the car.

It amazed me how she recoved that fast. I then walk after her. Before I got into the car I checked my phone one last time. A small bit of me was still hoping that the message would pop up on my phone. But it never happened. I put my phone in my purse and got into the car. I sat next to (b/f/n) looking out the widow. (b/f/n) could tell that something was wrong, and she knew exactly what it was.

"You really wanted him to come didn't you?" she said leaning back into the set.

"Yeah I do, but I understand if he does not really want to go," I said still looking out the window.

It was quiet for a bit.

"OH come on (y/n). We agreed that tonight was going to be a fun girl's night out. Not a be-sad-that-the-boy-you-like-is-not-going night. I wanted to go to have some fun with you because you are always worried about school and stuff. Besides we never hangout together anymore," she said.

"I know. It just make me sad, but I won't be sad anymore because your right. We agreed to have a fun girl's night out," I replied.

"YAY!" (b/f/n) exclaimed.

(b/f/n) seemed more happy after that, but I saw still sad inside of me.

Time skip

"Come on (y/n)! We are already late," (b/f/n) said running into the school building.

"I'm coming," I said running behind her.

Our school dance was being held in out Gym. So we had to walk past many classrooms to get there. When we opened the doors the room was decorated with streamers that were where and a disco ball in the middle of the room. To the left of us was a table with food and drinks on it. There were lots of kids already there. I saw (e/n) out of the corner of my eyes with all of her friends with her.

"(y/n) I'm going to grab some food. You want anything?" (b/f/n) asked me.

"No thanks. I'm going over there to sit," I said point to the bleachers.
