Paper Plane #4,900,001 | another five years later

A/N: I don't normally put authors notes at the beginning of the chapter, but I had to this time. The title of this chapter is E and M after Logan and Tess's son and daughter,  Ezra and Maya. I'm so excited to share this with you guys!!! It's kind of like a farewell to this story finally. I hope you all enjoy it. Idk why I didn't post this because I swore I did. I'm sorryyyy guyysssss. March has been totally kicking my ass. Also I may or may not have ugly cried writing this k bye.

Hugs and kisses xx - jocelyn

It's been awhile since Logan and I first got married. About seven years to be exact. It's weird how time flies. I would have never thought in a million years that things would turn out the way that they have. It's kind of amazing really.

We have two kids now, if you can believe it. Ezra, a smiley and excited five year old, was our first, and Maya, a sweet two year old, was our second. I have the ability to work from home, so Maya stays with me during the day. Ezra has been over the moon with excitement since he's started kindergarten just this year.

I start the car, as I get ready to pick him up from school. I can't believe I'm one of those annoying ass white moms who drives a BMW now. If sixteen year old me could see me now, she would roll her eyes and say, "Oh my god, this bitch."

I try my best to abide by the speed limit when I go to pick up Ezra, but you would not believe these moms. It's like a race to see who can get their kid first without getting pulled over by a police officer for going forty in a twenty.

Ezra is supposed to wait with his teacher in the front of the school, but he's always been a rule breaker. He's sitting right at the end of the sidewalk in the pick up line with a huge grin on his face. I get out and open the door for him.

"Hi, mom!" he says in a happy tone that only younger children are blessed with.

"Hey, sweetie," I say, giving him a hug. I don't know why, but Logan and I got in a habit of hugging each other and our kids all of the time. I should really get him to the car faster considering there are several red-faced, honking mothers waiting to get their beloved children now, and Maya is getting antsy."How was your day?"

"Great!" Ezra starts walking to the car, but he doesn't do that kindergarten cute, jumpy walk. No, he does that fuckboy walk that sends me back to high school.

"Ezra, why are you walking like that?"

He smiles up brightly up at me in a way that scares me for a second, because he looks exactly like Logan did all those years ago. "Daddy said if I walk like this I'm gonna be a lady killer."

I start internally screaming LOGAN YOU CANNOT TEACH OUR FIVE YEAR OLD TO BE A LADY KILLER, but that won't do much good at the moment.

"We'll talk about this later, Ezra."

"Guess what mommy," Ezra says, as soon as he gets into the car.

"What," I say barely paying attention as I scroll through ten messages Logan sent me. All of them are questioning the safety of the school our son goes to. Apparently even though the school he's at has incredible safety measures in place, Logan is convinced Ezra is going to be abducted by aliens or something. I type out something that should assure him our child in my car in one piece without any visible traumas.

"I'm a smooth talker," Ezra says with pride in his squeaky five year old voice.

I glance at the message and press send. "Oh, that's nice, sweetie."
