a desert land once left enchanted,
sparkling sand turning into fairydust,
pages of history and tales long left drafted,
heaven altered into stone,
everything started to rust,
in the middle of nowhere, an abandoned bloody throne,
north of all the hopes that were hopelessly crushed,
out of all the darkness swarming over them, a twinkle shone,
a knight who wore gold turned deception into trust,
"i will reign, sin and gloom shall be nevermore,
chronicles of enchantment and kindred spirits shall be evermore."
it was just a mere letter of make-believe,
elating words that were made to black-heartedly deceive,
the once charming land, not a one strived to retrieve,
the once brown, transformed into a black leaf.
