Lukas stared down at the rather smaller other, holding his hand and listening to someone continue to ramble about dedication beside him, who was wearing a black vest like thing, showing off a slimmer and smaller figure, with slightly puffy white sleeves that ended with folded white cuffs, and puffed up a little at the top of his chest, below such, wearing black straights and even darker black dress shoes. Lukas wore a dress - the dress - a slim white one, which at the waist stopped clinging to his figure like it's lifeline, white fabric pooling on the ground where he stood, and lace sleeves trailing down to his arms, ending in a triangle like shape on the tops of his hands. "Do you-"

Wait..!
How did Lukas even get to the point in his life where he'd ever even consider getting married to anyone at all, especially someone as needy as a newborn kitten, you wonder?
Well, let me explain it from the top.
-
Lukas and his brothers, Matthias and Emil, had grown up in a small town on the countryside, raised by parents who didn't do well at their jobs. Both jobs, parenting and - Well wherever the actual hell the couple even worked. Not to mention, the constant arguing between the two.
Once Matthias had graduated college - Out of town, of course. He had moved out, taking Lukas and Emil with him, there wasn't a chance that he, the oldest of the three, would leave the two in care as such. It didn't take long either, Matthias was family and their parents made no protest to signing legal papers - In all honesty they probably weren't even sober.
Not once did any of them work back, neither did any of them try and contact their 'parents'.
Currently, the trio of brothers lived in a cozy house in the city of Oslo, right by the ocean, it really was the perfect place to see the auroras too!
Matthias, at the age of 21, now worked as a kindergarten teacher, earning an acceptable wage with his skill with little kids. The wage kept the groceries paid for, the bills paid for, and Emil's school fees paid for. It was almost perfect.
Lukas, at the age of 18, worked at a restaurant, his wage was barely the minimum, but it didn't matter so much, since he could spend it on luxuries such as phones, a TV and such, since Matthias had the two younger ones covered for everything else.
There isn't much to say for Emil, since he's only 15 and in Grade 10, so he was just starting his first year of highschool. I mean we could say he had hobbies outside of school, but what importance do those play in Lukas's story?

Now that we've got the backstory all settled in, lets move on to the actual storytelling. How Lukas ended up with the practical kitten of a partner.
-
Lukas sighed, balancing three plates on both his arms, making it six plates in total. One if which held what seemed like an endless count of drinks - Which happened to be ten drinks total, worsening the case was that it was alcohol; had it not been a good eight people at the table; there was no way this would be allowed to be served, in case you were curious.
Somehow, the Norwegian landed this as a part-time job. Waiting tables. Which didn't entirely suck, he had the balance and coordination to do it, and he made enough money to survive. Granted the fact he was living with his brothers. So he didn't really have to pay bills or rent, which made his life so much easier, however the job helped a little, since sometimes - Rarely, but sometimes - Matthias couldn't pay off bills, schooling, and so many other things they needed by himself.
Despite this, most of the money Lukas earned went to other things that they didn't need, or that weren't vital. Luxuries that brought his family a little extra entertainment.
It was a good cycle, Matthias paying for things they really needed, and Lukas paying for things such as hobbies.

Back to the real story. Where was I? Ah, yes. Serving tables.
When Lukas arrived at the table, a small male picked up a tray off each of his arms, setting them on the table.
He hadn't said a single thing, the said 'small blond' just did it.
Now, not complaining. Lukas was very grateful for this, even letting a quiet "Tusen takk" escape him without thinking, not that he wouldn't have thanked him if he had thought about.
Lukas wanted to ask who was driving them all home, unfortunate things happen when people drink and drive, and seeing as there's more drinks then there is people... We've all heard the stories. I don't want to elaborate.
Despite this urge, he held his tongue, assuming that this group of people had at least half a brain and had a designated driver.
All his worries about any of this escaped his head as the entire tray of drinks was handed to a much taller scarfed male on the other end of the table. Judging by the expression on the blond one, whom we shall call 'B' until further notice.
The expression 'B' made caused Lukas to smile, seeing as 'B' clearly didn't like the idea of the much taller man getting all the drinks. Quite frankly, Lukas didn't either.
"Hold your liquor well." He said, 'B' made a face.
Despite being polite enough not to mention anything, he hadn't failed to notice that two of the people at the table were holding hands. Specifically the only one with brown hair, and - Well, can't describe them all as blond. Hmm. The other guy he was holding the hand of had glasses and this one piece of hair that just stuck up above the centre of his forehead. That'll do!
Lukas couldn't help but smile a tad wider at the sight of their 'subtlety', and made no comment.

Yeah yeah. Okay. There's the meeting, there's so much more that could be described, but that'll just get boring. So we should skip until the bill and whatever, yes? Yes. Because I'm not going to continue to write Lukas sneaking glances over at that table every so often.

Lukas had managed to procrastinate enough on bringing them the bill, and with hopes not to get fired. The moment someone else picked it up to bring to them, Lukas had already grabbed it from them, flashing a look somewhat like a glare, but with a playful tint to it, and took it to the table himself, apologizing for the wait.

Soon enough, the group had been out the door. Without a second thought, Lukas grabbed a pen and somehow managed to get to the door quickly enough and still manage to look professional.
"Wait." He said, grabbing the wrist of 'B', who flinched under the grasp, which Lukas quickly loosened. "Ah, I'm sorry to be a bother," He started off with, starting to grow kinda nervous about this, 'B' was a complete stranger! "I'm Lukas, you should call me- Or text me." He uncapped the pen, "May I?" He asked, holding up his wrist. With the small nod earned, Lukas quickly wrote down a series of nine numbers, and stepped back. "Your family is waiting- You sho- Can I get your name?" Lukas could feel his ears heating up, but at least he wasn't as bad as 'B', who was blushing a good amount.
"Raivis."
Lukas let the name run through his head a few times, "Got it, you best be on your way now." He grabbed his shoulders, gently turning him the other way to face the exit, and let him be on his way.
