Bad Blood

Chapter 2

Getting home i went right up to my room. Since only my mom was home and past out on the couch. Shutting my door i leaned back against it. Walkingover, turning my music on and started to undress, my phone rang. Dad.

‘’Hello’’ i mumbled. ‘’Hey, your mom must be out just letting you know im working late tonight be home by time you get ready for school’’ he said. ‘’Alright. night’’ i said.

Hanging up i finished getting into my pjs. Going back downstairs and getting leftovers out of the fridge and eating downstairs.

Getting up the next morning to door being shut. No matter how soft or loud doors being shut were i heard it. Looking at the clock it was 6:20am, time to get up.

Taking a quick shower than slipping into a pair of black skinnys and a blue/black vneck. Putting my hair in light curls, and  lighting  up my eyes. Grabbing my favorite perfume and lightly spraying it.

Grabbing something to eat, my mom came down stairs. ‘’Morning’’ she said. Looking over at her, she was rubbing her head. ‘’Hang over’’ i suggested. ‘’Yeah, im overing over tonight so ill be home really late. along with your father’’ she mumbled. ‘’Great’’ i whispered.

Grabbing my keys i walked out to my car. Making the car come alive i turned the radio on. ‘Radioactive’ was just starting. I loved that song, so i turned it up really loud.

Getting into the school parking lot the song went over. Turning off the radio, as i parked into a spot. Looking down at my phone a motorcycle parked besides me. Putting my sunglasses back onto my face, looking over to the drive.

He took his helmet off and sat it on the seat. Jason. Sighing, i grabbed my stuff and got out. I felt his eyes on me as i shut the door. Walking away i noticed everyone was looking at me. I hate being new.

Getting to my locker someone stood besides me. Taking my glasses off for a better look. ‘’Hey’’ the stranger said. ‘’Um hi’’ i voiced. ‘’Your new here huh’’ he smirked. ‘’Yeah’’ i said slowly shutting my locker. ‘’Well im Matt if you ever need anything let me know’’ he said smiling. ‘’Thanks’’ i grumbled.

Walking into first period i sat a few seats ahead where i was yesterday. Leaving him back in the corner. Like he wanted it. Playing on my phone til the bell rang. Seeing a leather jacket walk past me. As the principal came over the speaker i slide my phone in between my legs.

Feeling eyes on me, looking around no one was looking my way. ‘’Alright, class we are gonna be using partners  for the next few weeks. Ive already paired you up with someone and there will be no switching or trading’’ she growled.

After rattling everyones name off, ‘’Jordan and Jason’’ she smirked. Hearing a soft sigh from behind me i was ready to just quit school. ‘’Now first assignment will be getting together and figureing out what your project will be bout. When our research is all done youll turn in all the paperworks’’ she went on and on.

‘’Get together and brain storm some ideas’’ she voiced. Everyone shuffling around the room. I heard a desk coming from behind me. Looking over Jason was pulling his desk closer.

‘’Stuck with me again’’ he muttered. ‘’yeah’’ i whispered. ‘’ now i dont do much for school so  you better get me a good grade’’ he chuckled. ‘’Now look im not gonna do all this alone you can help’’ i barked at him. ‘’Theres that mouth’’ he spoofed. ‘’if we work hard in here maybe thats all well have to do. nothing more outside of here’ i said grabbing my book.

‘’Fine, im not doing much though’’ he said. Rolling my eyes, i opened my book and seen some ideas. ‘’Why dont we do this’’ pointing to the page in the back.  ‘’Sure’’ he said. Writing it down on our paper he leaned over closer. ‘’Nice writing’’ he muttered.
