Can we stop running ?

Part 2

*With Serenity*

It had been an hour since my mother's passing. It was late at night and

outside looked gloomy just like my feelings. You have to admit you

have to feel some sadness in hospitals. I still didn't know that she left

all those lies at the end, the very end of her time on Earth. What more

secrets was she hiding from her? Was her father a really bad person?

She left a lot of secrets unanswered and the identity of her father was

STILL a mystery!

She had gotten sort of stressed out and was frustrated and her friend

Maya who was next to her was sensing that too. Maya didn't know

what to do. Should she have told her that she may know some secrets?

Not now.

"Maya, do you have any idea what your parents are talking about?" Sakura asked having her hands on her hand

because she was starting to have a headache.

"No I do not. Are you okay? You look like you are getting sick? Is this too much for you to handle?" Maya asked

looking closely at my face.

"No Maya, I just found my mother was dying of cancer yesterday and she had to pass on me. I also was stupid

enough not to get my father's identity out of her. I lost all my family." Sakura said burying her face with her hands.

This was way too much for this twelve year old to handle.

Maya frowned slightly and looked over to her parents. They were obviously talking about Sakura since her mother's

extreme face of concern. Her parents were both grieving, they were best friends. Her mother knew something she

wasn't telling. Sakura's mom had always been an oddball the whole thirteen years she had known her.

Maya then saw her parents come to her and say they were leaving. Both Sakura and her left to the car and drove to

Jennifer's Ranch that she owned. She bought with the money Michael had given her and she was practically rich

since she never really used it. Sakura never understood were she got the money.

They soon arrived and when they went inside it was the same they left it. The cup of juice was still there when Sakura

had breakfast this morning when they left in such a hurry. Sakura plopped on the couch and sighed. She was tired

but she didn't fell it had struck her hard enough to actually go to sleep. She didn't know what happened next. I guess

Maya and her parents are staying over for the night.
