Chapter 3: Divination Rite

          Earth: 1                                             Metal: 1

          Fire: 1                                                Lightning: 1

          Wind: 1                                             Light: 1

          Water: 1                                           Dark: 1

          Wood: 1                                           Void: 1

The other kids that had finish taking their divination could ask an elder to explain the results to them.

Teo took the piece of paper and went over and asked one of them to explain his results.

"Teo pure generalist are quite very rare" the man in the black robe said

Teo looked excited, rare means good right?

Since the majority of people would not have an elemental attribute, Teo was very excited

Seeing Teo's excited face the man sighed and continued "Although its very rare, your growth rate on all elements are at the very minimum, its quite strange. You see most people have an elemental attribute they excel at. Like myself, I excel with fire element. Pure generalist are people who have many elements but do not excel at anything, everything is more or less equal, a sort of Jack of all trades."

"Though pure generalists are very rare because they have all known elements attributes, they would usually have a growth rate of at least a 3. It is really strange that you have everything at rank 1"

The black robed man looked at Teo "Teo, you have to work hard to improve you elemental efficiency. It says here that each element is only at rank 1, meaning that your improvement rate is the lowest. Although it is low, it does not mean you can't improve your mastery of an element"

"Remember, elemental growth rate does not equal elemental mastery. Though it would be very difficult compared to having a better growth rate, you can still master an element on par with someone who has a better growth rate than yourself"

When Teo heard the results, he was confused on what it actually mean. But from the expression of the man in the black robbed, he knew that although he was lucky to have any elemental attribute, it could be considered to be bottom tier

Usually a pure generalist could be regarded as a very rare and special talent. It could be said that most pure generalist's future would be bright. This however was not the case with Teo

Pure generalists though would have equal growth rate on all of its elements, thus the usual pure generalists would have a lower growth rate than a regular generalists. Though it would be considered low, they would always be a growth rate of 3. Having 1 growth rate was too low.

Soon everyone's divination was finished. A number of guards lead the children out of the town hall and awaiting outside were 2 carriages.

"Okay everyone, get on the carriages, we'll travel today for 3 days and head to the City of Mirth"

Within the carriage

The carriage was full of village children and guards

On Teo's left was a boy who is trying to look confident, but was trying to hide his obvious excitement. He looked at Teo and said "Hello, my name is Windle lets get along"
