Kevin Price was born to King and Queen Price of the Kingdom Of Confidence.

It was a stable kingdom, glowing bright blue and always sounding of sweet music. Everyone there was beautiful in the soul and the appearance, it was practically perfect.

Kevin was born to the King and Queen of that province, who were loved and appreciated like no other. Everyone there was, of course, born with great confidence and knowing of their skills. But only Kevin was born as one of the chosen four.

No one in the kingdom had great power like him. Sparkling eyes as brown as the smooth soil they walked upon, with neat, blonde hair, and a bright smile. He grew up, training to be the best king possible.

Until one day, whilst exploring, he found a cave. It glowed and sang, filling Kevin's twelve year old heart with great curiosity. He snuck in, wonder continuing to grow with every step.

His eyes widened with joy as he discovered a glowing, sapphire rock in the corner of the cave. Of course at this age, his first instinct would be to inspect it, so he stepped closer with a toothless smile. He looked around to make sure no one was watching, and laid his hand on the gem, causing it to explode with light. He fell to the ground and grunted, squinting at the ball of light with confusion.

"What the-"

Kevin started to float upwards, the sound of shimmering filling the room. He gasped in excitement, raising his arms up and looking around. Deep blue light filled the space around him and the gem transformed into a necklace.

He smiled brightly out of joy and wonder, giggling softly to himself. Then, the necklace latched around his throat forcefully, shooting a sharp pain through his body and dropping him to the ground. He groaned and reached for the necklace, realizing it might've been a small mistake to mess around the cave.

Kevin tugged at it with all of his strength, yet it didn't budge. Tears of confusion filled his eyes and he pulled on the necklace over and over, each time trying harder. But it wouldn't come off.

Kevin heard shimmering from behind him and flicked his head in the direction of the sound. There were glowing drawings on the cave wall. His young mind was too frantic to comprehend what was going on, so he was panicking to no extent. It was amazing in the moment, but after the outcome he regretted everything.

Kevin hopped up from his kneel, cautiously heading towards the cave drawings. It was somewhat of a comic. The words "Chosen One" were carved in, with scenes of fighting and protecting scrawled around the radiated wall.

Kevin squinted in confusion, finding all of this hard to believe. He was twelve, but his imagination wasn't too welcoming. The overwhelmed kid noticed one more thing, a handprint.

"Hm..." He whispered, looking at his own hand and raising an eyebrow.

Kevin figured maybe it would reverse what he had done to himself, and with a deep breath, he placed his hand over the cave's handprint.

It began to shimmer and sing louder, awakening the power inside of him.
The words "Chosen one" repeated over and over in his head as his strength hummed inside of his blood. He fell to the ground again, this time catching his fall in a kneeling position.

Suddenly, everything was clear. He knew what he was, what he had to do. The cave's power pushed away the clouds in his mind and opened up the prophecy. Kevin fled the kingdom at only twelve years old, on a strict search for others of his kind.
