Prologue and Chapter 1: Problems begin in the summer

((Jessica is around Dippers height. She has black and wavy hair that's always in the way. Her eyes are a dull green color and she's tan-ish.))

Prologue
I'm going to tell you all a story. This a story about my younger years, when I was naive and stupid. Like any girl from age 12 to 20, I made many mistakes, life changing mistakes. Now at this point you're probably wondering who I am. Well. My name was Jessica Mays. You'll find out my name now later on. Wouldn't want to give spoilers. Well, time to get on with the story.

Chapter 1: Problems Start in the Summer.
I was 12 when my life started changing. It was the beginning of the summer and my two best friends in the whole world had left for the summer. They had gone to Gravity Falls to spend the summer with their great uncle, Stan. My friends names? Mabel and Dipper Pines. They left me alone in California for the summer, leaving me lonely and bored. I knew already this summer was going a summer from hell. I was lonely, bored, and wasn't the best person when it came to feelings. I would get upset easily, and worry constantly. So, them being gone, especially since they were my support system, wasn't helping.

After a week of them being gone I had started having nightmares and lashing out at people for silly things. I wasn't myself. But I knew my behavior was because of not being able to sleep, afraid to have more nightmares. I was a cranky girl, who had been seeing terrible things in her sleep, of course I was emotionally unstable then. My mom had seen it as separation anxiety and tried many things to help me. None of them had helped me, so my mom decided that for the summer we'd move to Gravity Falls. She was hoping I'd get better after that. She was wrong.

That summer I had gotten worse. Even though I had Mabel and Dipper, I still got worse. The day my mom and I got there wasn't bad, but once things started to happen in that small town, the stress had begun to bring me down, making the nightmares worse. I remember one event that made the real first change in me. I got to sorta meet the person responsible for my nightmares, which was... interesting.
