Part 19: Tears in the rain

Another week has passed. Cyrrus and I watched a movie yesterday. Mothsary namin!! HAHA

One epic date.

Lagi naming epic ang dates namin eh. Nakakatuwa.

Yung words ni Adrielle? Not bugging my mind anymore.

Cyrrus have a soccer game today, and of course manonood ako!! Pwede bang hindi?!?!

“Hey my princess!! Cheer for me okay!!” He said.

he held my hand and gave it a squezz. And yet again, another electric current struck me. He always have this effect to me.

The game started at sa tuwing matatamaan o madadapa si Cyrrus, feling ko ako yung nadadapa.

Their opponent is the 6 time champion of the collegiate cup! And this is the finals. Sana manalo kami.

The score is tied. Pero nalamangan namin. And the last goal is from Cyrrus.

We won!

We freaking won!! Horaaaay!!

I went to the celebrating crowd. Everybody is jumping with joy and I saw Cyrrus joining them. I see his sheer happiness.

Then a girl suddenly grabbed his neck and kissed him on the lips. I know that girl! That’s Adrielle..

Tears well up on my eyes. My vision went cloudy.

I blinked once and I felt my heart breaking inside my chest.

I ran away from the crowd. I dodged person by person. I cried like hell while running and when I got to the sidewalks, I tried to hail a taxi..

Pero laging may sakay. Just when I thought my day is ruined it started to rain. Umulan ng malakas.

Wala pa akong payong. I ran and ran. Not knowing where to go. I just want to get out of this place. I want to leave. I will follow wherever my feet will take me. Then I slowed into a walk and I saw a familiar figure.

My body felt weak, my knees shaked. I lost all my sense and collapsed to the ground.

Adrielle

I cant bear to see them happy. Tapos ako, naiiwan na sa ere.

Cyrrus is not Spending time with me anymore.

Anncel, Anncel, puro nalang anncel. Pwede naming Adrielle.

I drank my heart out. Drinking made me feel numb. Pero, yung heartache… It stays. For reals.

Para akong pinapatay unti-unti. Monthsary na nila. 1 month torture for me.

Siguro kaya ko tapusin yang 1 month nila agad. I think alcohol makes me think sensible. WEIRD.

Why cant Cyrrus love me? I drank all the contents of the vodka and wiped my face with my bare hands. I watched the game and waited for it. Alam ko naming mananalo si Cyrrus. They did won.

Di ko na napigilan ang sarili ko at hinalikan ko sya. Kahit nakaw, masaya parin ako.

Nakaisa.

Tinulak nya ako palayo.

“Cyrrus! Kailan mo ba ako mamahalin?” Di ko na napigilan ang bugso ng emotions ko. Iniyak ko na kasabay ng ambon na unti unting nahuhulog.

“Ano bang sinasabi mo!?!” This time mas malakas na yung tulak nya.

Napa upo na ako. Tears kept rushing down my face.

With all the people cheering, I was the only one there crying.

“Anncel wait!!” I heard him shout.. Hanggang ngayon ba sya parin!?

Ano ba kailangan ko gawin?

Lalong sumakit ang puso ko. Feeling ko piniga ito. Umulan na ng malakas at kasabay ng ulan ay ang pag tulo ng luha ko na matagal ko nang itinatago.

Lahat ng plano ko, nasira dahil sa isang katangahang ginawa ko.

Cyrrus

Today we have a very important match.

This is the finals and I cannot bear to lose. 

Winning is the only option.

I met My princess on the soccer field. She’s there. Looking beautiful as always.

Seeing her here makes me happy. Ang galling. She’s very supportive at dahil sa kanya alam ko mananalo ako. She’s my lucky charm.

The game started and after 30 mins, the scores are tied to 2-2.

With one good pass of the ball from my teammates, I managed to strike another goal that made the 6 time champions, a champion no more!!

NANALO KAMI AT WE DESERVE IT.

The crowd went wild. Our college  celebrated. I saw anncel left the bench and I’m expecting her to congratulate me.

People around me starte jumping, cheering and the like.

Tapos dumating si Adrielle, She grabbed my neck and kissed me. The smell of her breath smelled like alcohol. I pushed her away.

“Ano ba adrielle!!” I saw anncel standing there staring..

“Cyrrus! Kailan mo ba ako mamahalin?” She said, starting to sob.

“ano bang sinasabi mo!!?!” Itinulak ko sya palayo.

“anncel wait!!!” With all of my voice I screamed her name.

She did not look back, but instead she ran faster. The crowd around me is even more energetic.

Nahihirapan na ako dumaan.

Lalong nagkagulo nung umulan! Everybody enjoyed the rain. I pushed my way out of the crowd but anncel is nowhere in sight.

I looked up.

"WHY?"
