Erin swayed, giggling like an amused child as the liquid that sat inside the Tequila bottle began to swish and swirl as she moved, her black stiletto's were sinking in the soft grass making it almost impossible for her to walk. Her best friend Caley giggled and threw her arm around Robert, making yet another attempt to throw herself at the male who made it quite clear the first five times he wasn't interested. But the blond was persistent and with more than just a few ecstasy pills running through her system, it was doubtful the girl would even realize she had only one of her favourite earrings on; having lost the other long sparkly monstrosity during the party.
"Aww c'mon Robbie," giggled Caley sliding her hands down the man's chest in attempt to go under his belt buckle. "Just a short quickie," she giggled, her words sounded a little off and her blue eyes completely dilated. She wore a short black lace prissy skater dress with combat boots that reached mid-thigh. Surprisingly enough she was smart enough not to wear heels after almost breaking her heel the last time she attempted stilettos.
But no matter what it was she would wear, it would seem Robert wouldn't take a single budge of it, only he and Teegan were the ones close enough to being completely sober. "Damnit Caley," he exclaimed. "I said no, get it through your stoned head."
"Buuuuuuuut Robbie." She whined, sounding like a child who was told 'no' to buying the toy at the supermarket. "I swear it won't take long," she giggled and let off a light scream when she felt a soft small hand grip her upper arm. She turned to see Heather frown and shake her head, her brown curls swishing with the movement.
"Let it go Caley," she said dragging the girl a little further back and away from the front of the group. She shared a look with Sam who wrapped her arm through Caley's other side in an attempt to keep the girl at bay.
Which seemed to work, Caley only began to sing "Under The Sea" from The Little Mermaid, it cause frustrated sighs from both Sam and Heather but they would rather her sing children's songs than jump Robert's bones. Sam ran a hand through her short blond hair and tugged at the coat a random boy gave her during the party when she complained the pink cagey chiffon dress was too thin in the Autumn air. She had worn stiletto's like Erin earlier, but packed thongs in her bag to change over when her feet ached, which she thankfully did but now had mud covering the back of her legs from the thong's flicking. "Stupid shoes," she cursed which earned a chuckle from Heather.
"That's why I wore Vans," she laughed and grinned down at the bright red shoes. Her outfit was basic with black leather high waisted shorts, and a red and black striped crop top, but as always, the brunette managed to make anyone feel under-dressed even if she was in nothing but her underwear.
Erin stopped suddenly that made Robert bump into her and if he hadn't caught her arms, no doubt make her fall to the ground. "Oomph." Was the sound they both made along with a squeal from Erin before she decided to take off her shoes and pass them to Robert and begin to skip along the path that was the short cut home from the party to their street.
"How much did she drink?" Teegan asked sharing a concerned look with Robert, her brown eyes sparkled in the moonlight and she saw Robert swallow nervously, questions filled in her mind but she decided it best not to go down that path. Wearing black skinny jeans that hugged her form in all the right places and fluorescent orange peplum top that bought out the shape of her chest and colour of her skin, the curly brunette did a light spin before following down after Erin. Her footwear were Vans like Heather's, only her pair was completely black. She had barely anything to drink, but whenever it came to visiting the bushland was always at ease.
It didn't take them long to be half-way home, but the alcohol and ***** were beginning to wear off leaving most of them grumpy and irritable. All, except Caley who miraculously managed to keep a bubbly mood. Teegan was just simply tired of feeling as if she was babysitting considering her lack of illegal substances, she didn't dare comment about noticing how Robert was taking a few sips every so often from Erin's bottle when she offered. It wasn't her place, he was the only legal aged one of all of them, he could as he pleased.
"Hey what's that cool light?" Erin giggled and tugged Teegan by the arm, she saw a small glisten of something on a tree, almost as if something metal was reflecting from the moonlight.
"I'm not sure," she admitted while the other's made questioning sounds and continued to comment how they couldn't see anything, Teegan pointed out the area and they all gave her blank looks.
"I don't see anything Teeg's," Robert said, his voice shaky and words slurred. 'He's drunk,' Teegan thought to herself before turning to Erin who began to run closer to it.
"Erin! Wait!" Teegan called out running after her. The others followed suit, she was surprised any could keep up, considering barely of them wanted let alone could work minutes ago.
"Ooh look," Erin giggled, tracing her fingers around a seven pointed star that was engraved into the tree, each point holding a small diamond. Teegan watched Erin trace it until she pushed into the centre of the star, her face looked expectant, almost as if she pressed a button to an elevator and was expected to go somewhere.
Robert sighed and pulled at Erin's arm. "Nothing's going to hap-" he was cut off as a big gust of wind appeared out of nowhere, circling them, picking up dust and pushing them all around until they collided with one another.
Screams and shouts echoed the wind and Heather screamed louder as she felt her feet lift from the ground, too afraid to open her eyes she grasped onto someone's arm, she could only assume it was Sam by the voice of the scream. "WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" Yelped Caley and hugged onto Robert as she too felt herself begin to levitate.
But before any answers could be made, they all hit the ground, or more, a small shallow river. Leaving them all soaking wet and confused. Teegan leaned up and opened her eyes first. "Um guys," she said as she looked around. "We're not in Kansas anymore," she quoted from The Wizard of Oz as she noted the trees that almost looked as if they were the height of a twenty story building.
"Where are we?" muttered Sam as tears bubbled in her eyes from fear. This wasn't the bushland they were walking through seconds ago.
They were completely lost.
I figured I would give you a little short story to tide you over till I make a new update :3
