-Le Flashback-

The girls mother looked at her daughter in concern. "Daughter! Are you alright?"

The girl wiped off the tears from her face, flying upwards and diving for a full on attack.

No mercy. Nazur would be dead by her hand, she was sure of it.

The goat man was fast, but she was faster. She knocked the king off his feet, and he collapsed on the ground.

The girl took a knife from the counter and threw it at Nazur.

Nazur deflected it, laughing. "Kieo! By god, man, you told me your daughter was good at fighting, but you didn't say she was this good!"

She hissed at the king. There was only room for hatred in her heart.

No longer would she be subjected to rules such as the monster king gave.

She went to strike again, but was held back by her mother.

"Daughter, how about you make us some tea, alright?"

"Yes, mother." The girl sighed, and left to make some tea.

-Le Flashback End-

You woke up to someone shaking you.

"(y/n). Wake up."

Slowly, groggily, you sat up.

"Wha? I'm 'wake..."

Grillby laughed, a husky sound that made you smile. "Thank you for breakfast, little bird."

"Grillby...?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

He nuzzled his face in your hair. "I love you more, little bird."
