Still in 7th grade
Caleb has been acting really weird lately. Like for instance whenever I talk about Jake he looks mad and hurt? I hope he's ok, I hate seeing him upset. He's supposed to come over my house today for a sleepover. My parents are perfectly fine with Caleb staying over because they know we're just friends. "Hey Ashy-Poo" Caleb says using the nickname he gave me back in 6th grade. "Hey Caleb" I say laughing "Ok so meet me at your locker at the end of the day so we can walk to your house" he says "Ok yeah I'll meet you later" I say smiling then leaning in to hug him but I'm interrupted by Jake grabbing me kissing me. "Hey babe" he says smirking at Caleb. I wonder what's that all about I brush it off and hug Jake. "Bye Caleb" I say quickly as Jake drags me off to our next class. "Yeah bye Ashley" he says sadly walking off. I feel so bad but Jake's my boyfriend so I expect Caleb to be fine with me walking with him it's not like I'm dating Caleb.
End of the day
"Hey Ashley ready" Caleb says "yeah just let me grab something out of my locker" I say "ok let's go" I say grabbing his hand rushing out of school. I'm really excited about this sleepover with Caleb. I feel like we've been really distant lately so I'm hoping this sleepover will be good for our friendship.
