The ball was coming up and i was getting desperate. i couldn't find a date. i couldn't go with Cedric. Neville was taken. Percy said no. i had to get help from my girls.

Me- any luck?

Jas- no. you?

Me- nope.

Jaka- Jas why don't you go with your best friend, Carter?

Jas- I guess I could do that. I haven't asked him if he's asked someone yet.

Jaka- cel, what about Justin?

Me- he's got someone. i'm gonna go alone. i cant go alone. i'm half of a champion.

Charlie- i have an idea.

me- who?

charlie- not telling.

later that day. The Hufflepuffs had classes with the Slytherins. i sat down in potions and Charlie was about to sit next to me but Malfoy beat her to it. i gave a confused look. I could see Charlie smirk behind Draco.

Me- what do you want Malfoy?

Draco- will you go to the ball with me?

i was shocked and it took me a minute to register what he said.

Me- did Charlie put you up to this? this isn't funny Draco.

Draco- i'm not trying to be funny. i want to go to the ball with you.

Me- ok, fine.

Draco- is that a yes?

i nodded.

Me- only if no one else asks me before tomorrow.

he smile and got out of Charlie's chair. Char sat next to me.

Me- is he ok?

Chara- i don't know. Don't ask me.

Me- did you see the way he looked at me? was he under a spell?

Charlie didn't say anything.

Snape- today class you will be creating a love potion.

we got started on the potion. Draco was forgotten as we talked about the yule ball and what dresses we were gonna wear.
