This story was based off of some personal experiences that I've experienced, not being the perfect child everyone expects you to be. Personally, I feel like this story expresses myself. Quite a few people are going through family hardships through life, and I wanted to show one in my perspective. I also wanted to show people that nobody's life is perfect, and one should make the most out of theirs. The most spectacular things usually come at the most unexpected times in life, as the saying goes. Life isn't about the titles given to us, but the way we live.
No, this story isn't one of those pg-13 stories taking place in high school. This is one about the problems at home that Elaine must overcome to be accepted into society, or her home in this case.
I hope you enjoy!

The Perfect Child

Elaine Warren's adopted younger sister, Christina, always comes before her in the household. Maybe its because her parents think that Christina is better than her, or because she's younger and adopted. Whatever the reason is, Elaine never seems to be able to satisfy her parents, no matter how hard she tries. It seems as if her parents don't even care about her. Either way, Christina will always be their perfect child.

Now, Elaine is trying to go for her righteous title of the house, 'the perfect child'. This will be her last chance, and she can't blow it. Will Elaine earn her righteous place? Or will Christina remain the perfect child?
