"Kimi!" I heard a feminine voice call. I sighed, 'she's getting better at finding me' I thought to myself. "Kimiko!" She called again, sounding exasperated, as I continued walking through the crowd, towards a small bookshop. "Kimiko Misora!" 'Crap.' She grasped my shoulder tightly, turning me to face her.
"Naomi?" I gasped, faking surprise. She glared at me, not having any of it.
"I thought I told you to stay in my apartment." It wasn't a question.
"But Mi-San," I started, "it's so boring! Raye isn't very good at keeping me entertained!" She frowned at me slightly, "You should help him work on that before you have kids." her face goes red so quickly that I can't keep a straight face.
"Kimi, this case is dangerous, and we haven't figured out the killers pattern yet," I frowned, about to input my opinion on said killer, "and before you say anything; One, you are a civilian and aren't supposed to know anything about the case. Two, mom and dad made me promise to protect you. And three, I don't have any desire to see my imōto [1] hurt." I frowned, my desire to argue slowly dying down. I looked away, my eyes catching on a man, about my age, with black hair, pale skin, wearing a white sweatshirt with blue jeans. Though what really caught my gaze were his blood red orbs, staring back into my own grey eyes. My mind started working on autopilot, as it usually does when I see someone that looks interesting. He's got an inferiority complex, oddly matched with narcissism. He seems to have anger issues, is addicted to something unusual, I just had to glance at the corner of his mouth to know what, strawberry jam. He was determined to prove himself, but didn't care much for the opinion of most, telling me that he only cared to prove himself to a specific person or group. He slouched, almost to the point that his body was in an upside down L shape. He seemed to think that he was the smartest person in the area, and there's a chance that he is, the fact that his hands kept fidgeting along with his nose twitching told me that he was running every possibility through his head.
"-imi?" My eyes snapped back to my older sister. "Have you even heard a word I've said?" I rubbed my arm, smiling sheepishly. She looked the direction I had been studying so intensely, "Did you just go shrink on that guy?" She sighed, clearly annoyed. She faced me again.
"But Naomi, you know how difficult it is for me to not analyze others behaviors." I whined acting, admittedly, childish.
"Let's go home." She sighed, leading me away. I looked back towards the guy. The last thing I saw of him, before he was swallowed by the crowd, were his lips pulling into a smirk, the strawberry jam still there. That, and his blood red eyes staring into my soul.
