Chapter 1

The dark skin under his hands was the most soft thing that Marc had touched in his entire life. He looked at the goosebumps that emerged from the path his fingers were trailing and smiled to himself. He was amazed by the intensity of the bond, the bond that every werewolf had with their mate. Since he was a pup, he never payed much attention to the love stories about his kind. He never cared about finding his mate but, when he found her, he realized how true the tales were. A mate was everything to a werewolf. She was a friend, a lover and a partner in life.
Marc looked at the depths of the black eyes that were watching him intently. His mate was unique for him, she was beautiful and strong. His smile faltered when he remembered the shadow upon them. Her father, the Alpha of the Amazon Pack, was a powerful man and leader, and unfortunately for them, he was against the union that the MoonGoddess had planed.

Sensing his line of thoughts, his mate stopped his mind with a soft kiss to his lips. It was a simple and innocent action, but it made Marc almost combust right there. The fire that her delicious mouth ignited on him, spread quickly down his body. In a moment, his cock was hard and screaming to be released and claim that exotic woman as his. Instead of giving into his animal instincts, Marc pulled away, keeping his arms steady around her waist. He didn't dare to move them lower, because he knew that his fingers wouldn't be able to roam her pretty and voluptuous ass without squeezing it.

Consciously, Marc knew that this moment would end. It always ended and every time in the same way, a tragic one. He knew that his dream was going to change at any moment and he stubbornly kept his eyes on hers, not wanting to let go of his beautiful mate yet.

The powerless feeling that rocked his soul was devastating and Marc yelled from the loss he knew it would come.
Death would take his mate, his dreams and part of his soul. His parents would perish too for his actions. It was his fault. Everything was his fault and his sweet Amalia and his caring parents died because of him.

He saw his mate kick her legs, desperately to be released. He tried to reach her and save her from her father's wrath, but he was weak back then, he was only a pup that thought he was invincible. The Beta and another wolf of the Amazon Pack grabbed him, bending his body in a painful angle. They made sure that his head was turned, so he could watch what was going to happen.

The Alpha's cruel eyes locked with his.

"You approached her, you touched her and now she is a whore and a traitor to me, to my pack." The Alpha said. His voice was ice cold and unattached. He talked about his daughter as if she was a thing, a simple object that he cared nothing about.

Bile rose to Marc's mouth. He understood then, that Amalia's fate was traced.

He tried to tell the man that he didn't mark her or had sex with her. He begged him to spare her life and kill him instead. The Alpha never listened. 

Marc remembered the crack he heard when the man snapped her neck, he saw him bite her endlessly in her angled neck, her stomach, her face. It was a horrible moment, a moment when her father showed that she was filthy, was unworthy and a scum.

After that, the Alpha continued to talk, enjoying Marc's pain.

"I had great plans for her, for us. She would married a strong Alpha. Luckily for me, I have another daughter and she will fill her place."

Marc was too shocked to hear him, half of his heart was dead and he felt that his life had ended there. 

The Alpha tossed the body to the ground and laughed. A cruel and harsh laugh. Marc's insides cringed at the sound and he noticed then that he was shaking. Shaking with sadness and fear.
