"A guest checked in yesterday?"

"Yep, I showed him to his room and everything." Ava smiled proudly as she shuffled the scrambled eggs back and forth in the pan. The guesthouse always smelt divine in the mornings.

Sino looked over at Ava's cooking, inhaled deeply and added a pinch of salt before continuing with the pancakes.

"Did you ask the nature of his stay?"

Ava crinkled her nose in amusement. "I'm not his parole officer."

"Was he young, old?"

Ava began to smile into the yellow mess.

"He's young," she guessed, a chuckle following. "Handsome?"

"Hardly," Ava murmured. Sino nudged Ava's hip, causing them both to laugh.

"What did you say his name was?"

"Um... Harry-something. Styles, I think."

Sino scoffed and flipped the pancake perfectly, something that always baffled Ava's uncoordinated spatula. "Oh yeah, I bet you wish."

"No, I'm quite certain his name was Harry Styles."

"That famous guy?" Sino raised her eyebrow. "You think some boy-bander would be staying here? You've got your head in too much fiction, child."

"Well... no, I don't know." Ava disregarded the egg and turned to Sino's side, frowning at her. "What do you mean, some boy-bander?"

"Harry Styles!" Sino hissed loudly, not in any way careful not to let the whole bed 'n breakfast hear. "You don't know who that is?"

Ava thought for a moment, but nothing immediately came to mind. Sino, who was twenty-six and had only moved into town a year ago, watched the seconds tick by in bewilderment.

"I am going to have a firm chat with your mother about getting you out more often."

"I go to the music store once a week," Ava said in defence, "And I've never heard of him before. What band is he a part of?"

"One Direction, but they're on hiatus—Wow... what if it is him?"

Ava wondered to herself. She thought she might have heard One Direction here and there.

His name was Harry Styles. She was sure of that. His band was on hiatus... but why in God's name would he be here of all places?

Sino finished off the last pancake and switched off the stove for Ava's eggs. She then grabbed onto Ava's arm and hauled her across the room to the door, peeking her head around just slightly to the dining room where the oblivious boy sat staring at a painting on the wall.

"Oh my," she whispered, her caramel eyes wide and shining. "We have our first celebrity!"

Ava slapped her hand over Sino's mouth in shock, yanking her back a second after Harry's head whipped around. "Sino, keep your voice down. I think he heard."

"Like he doesn't know he's famous," she jeered, adjusting a tight braid that fell over her shoulder.

"Ava, this means big things for this place, this whole town. If people knew that thee Harry Styles is staying here... I mean, think about all the business we'd get from the publicity. We could single-handedly—"

"Ruin his whole holiday," Ava finished, folding her arms over her chest and raising an eyebrow. "Si, you know as well as I that each guest's wishes are our wishes. I don't think he wants to be bombarded."

Sino calmed herself down very quickly, though her breath was still a bit quick. "If you think about it, he's probably quite used to it. It's not like it'd come as a surprise to him."
