The tears started pouring out again and my body shook as Summer wrapped me in a tight hug. She was crying too.

"I woke up and I had no idea where I was," I gasped between sobs. "I was naked," I cried. I tried to continue my sentence as best as I could. "And the sheets were covered in blood." Summer's grip tightened and she started crying almost as hard as me.

"And you think it's from..." she trailed off.

"I just know that yesterday I was a virgin and now I'm not," I cried quietly. "I don't remember anything." Summer held me tight for a while. Eventually I pulled away and saw I soaked the shoulder of her shirt in tears. "I just want to go home."

"Wait, stop right here," I said to Summer. She didn't question my instructions and pulled up in front of a restaurant. "I'll be right back." I grabbed my bag and walked along the side of the building to the dumpsters in the back. I did a quick check to see that nobody was looking and pulled the sheets out of my bag. Quickly, I tossed them in the dumpster and hurried back to the car.

"What was that all about?" Summer asked.

"I needed to get rid of something." She didn't ask any more questions, just kept telling me how sorry she was and how she'd be there for me, but all of it when in one ear and out the other. The only thing I wanted to do was go home, crawl under my covers, and stay there for the rest of my life.

Summer pulled up to my driveway and stopped the car before looking at me. "We can go to my place if you're not ready to tell your parents."

"I'm not telling them anything. I...I don't even know what really happened. I'll be fine," I said, getting out of the car.

"Hanna!" Summer shouted as I was about to close the door. "Don't ignore this, okay? Don't pretend it was nothing. Don't...don't be you, okay? I know you. Don't just let this go." I slammed the door shut then hurried up to my doorstep and opened the door.

I quietly snuck inside hoping to go unnoticed. My efforts were useless as I turned the corner to the kitchen and my mom was sitting at the table.

"Mom," I said under my breath.

"Hanna, where were you last night?"

"I-I slept over Summer's after the party. It got late and I didn't want to call and wake you up," I lied. I folded my arms over my chest trying to cover some of the bruises.

"Alright." She put down the newspaper and got up to pour herself a cup of coffee. "How was the party?"

"It was good," I said, unconvincingly. My mom turned to me and narrowed her eyebrows.

"You sure? You sound a little upset?"

"No, no it was fine. Kind of boring. I, um...I'm going to head upstairs and take a nap, Summer and I didn't get much sleep last night."

"Okay. I'm off to work, your brother and dad are out but should be home sometime this afternoon."

"Okay. Bye," I said, turning to go upstairs.

I ran to my room and shut the door then turned around and leaned all of my weight against it. I was certain if I didn't have something to hold me up I would collapse to the floor. My body slowly slid down the door until I was sitting with my knees to my chest. All I could feel was a numbness in my body. I wanted to forget everything that happened, but this wasn't like other bad things that had happened in my life. There wasn't a way for me just to forget.

I forced myself to stand up, using the door to pull myself up. I grabbed a towel and went into my bathroom to take a shower. As I looked in the mirror, I froze. It was the first time I had seen myself since last night. My face was puffy and my eyes were pink. I took off my clothes and saw that I had more bruises and marks on my skin than I had seen earlier that morning. They were scattered over my chest and neck. It was just a miracle my mother hadn't seen anything. I stepped in the shower and let out a sigh of relief as the warm water washed over my body. A light trail of blood went down my legs and washed down the drain. No matter how many times I washed myself, I didn't feel clean. I stayed in the shower for maybe an hour, just sitting and letting the water pour down on me. When it started to get cold, I turned off the water and got out. I didn't bother drying myself off and instead just wrapped myself in a towel and opened the door to my room. Carelessly, I dug through my drawers and picked out a set of comfortable clothes to change into. My wet hair was left in a tangled mess as I crawled into my bed and pulled up the covers. I just wanted to escape. Sleeping was the closest thing I had.

Harry's POV

It took almost the whole morning just to get the kitchen and living room back to looking somewhat clean. As I was just about down with the living room, I noticed something on the ground in front of the door. I saw that it was a cell phone and picked it up. It had a pink case so I assumed it was a girl's. The phone wasn't locked so I went to the pictures to see if there was anything that identified its owner.

"Hanna?" I said to myself. There weren't a tone of pictures, but Hanna was in a good chunk of them. I knew I had heard something fall during her speedy exit that morning. I went through her messages just to try and see if there was anything useful to find where she was, but I couldn't help but notice the conversation she had with one of her friends. I frowned as I read the text about Hanna hooking up with some guy. As the conversation continued, I saw that the girl Hanna was texting, Summer, had offered to take her home. I went to Hanna's contacts and looked for Summer's number. When I found it, I took out my phone and dialed the number and waited anxiously as it rang. Finally, someone picked up.

"Hello?" a girl's voice said.

"Hi, is this Summer?"
