Monsters Under the Bed

There is a monster

He lives under your bed

He says evil words

They get stuck in your head

You feel broken

Lost and weak

A higher road

Is all that you seek

The monster is careful

He's cruelly kind

But thats just an act

So he can enter your mind

His claws are curved

Eyes sharp and kind, never to have cried

Small twist to his mouth

But a demon inside

His touch is gentle

His skin is cold

He has lived so long

He is growing old

Your parents walk in

Just one random night

You and the monster

Had gotten in a fight

Blood on the walls

And blood coming from your head

You had been killed

By the gun beneath your bed
