He's dead.

He's gone.

Let's sing a song?

My heart is empty.

My soul is longing.

What just happened?

I want to run.

He's dead.

He's gone.

My love is gone

I couldn't stop repeating those words in my head as I watched the boy with the golden hair drink from Toby's lifeless body. The golden haired boy was a vampire. He was deadly and a killing machine. If he knew I was here, watching him empty Toby of his blood he would come and do the same thing he did to Toby to me.

He would throw me against the car that was idling, Toby's car, the one that he told me to get out of and grab some chips and pop from the Mr. G's. I had left him and he had been killed by a savage monster. A vampire. The chips and pops were forgotten laying on the ground behind me. I had dropped them out of shock and didn't care to pick them up. Vampires weren't supposed to exist, vampires were myths. But here now, a vampire had killed Toby and was draining him of blood.

I hadn't been able to see the boy with the golden hairs face, he hadn't looked my way, which was probably lucky because I was in plain sight. Standing-too shocked to move-in the middle of the road. The Mr. G's lights shone down on me and the scene before me. I let out a sob as I realized I would never get to have those summer nights with Toby ever again. Us lying on his roof, looking at the stars and talking about random shit we had to deal with. There would be no more summers at the cabin, just laying in the sun and eating chips or no more late nights watching scary movies and having popcorn wars.

It was all over and because of this stupid ass vampire and his need for Toby's blood. Anger pulsed through me and I took a few steps forewards, the vampire didn't turn. He continued sucking blood from Toby.

"Hey you bastard!" I screamed at him, I was to far gone to care what would happen to me now, I was to upset about Toby. He was the one I wanted to spend forever with. I loved Toby. And now Toby was gone. The vampire lifted his golden head and slowly turned to me chuckling. I took a step back at the look of his face, he was pure evil, Toby's blood was all around his mouth and his fangs glowed white against the Mr. G's lights. He stood up and started to walk towards me.

I couldn't move as he did. Closer and closer he came but it was like I was in a trance. This deadly creature was beautiful. My mind stopped fantasizing as I remembered the blood smeered on his face and now I could see it was on his white loose shirt too. He wiped his face with his hands as he neared me still. I let out a scream as he grabbed both of my wrists and smiled menacingly. Blood that was now on his hands smeared onto my wrists and I let out a whimper.

"I have waited over a hundred years for you to resurface Maya," he told me, his voice like crystal. Tainted crystal I thought suddenly, like crystal that had been dipped in blood.

"H-How do you know my name?" I asked him and tried to cower back as he took one of his hands from my wrist and carresed my face. At my question he just laughed.
