It was the usual place. The colorful evening sky. It never seemed to change. The orange and pink tinge was never ending, no matter how long she stayed there.

It was different every time. But, also always the same. The same woman and the same world, but a different scenario every time. This time it was a peaceful canoe ride over a vast ocean. The waves were calm and barely rocked the boat.

The woman sat on the opposite end of the boat with her hands folded in her lap. She had long, wavy black hair and skin like snow. Her eyes were an alluring shade of bright pink. Those eyes, they're probably just reflecting the sky. It'd be unreal for her to have pink eyes. Then again, this is a dream. Elizabeth thought.

Elizabeth knew it was weird that she was aware of the dream. Also that her dreams had taken place in the same world for a week straight. It should've been quite suspicious for her. But this world...it was like an escape. It didn't need to make sense.

The woman watched Elizabeth closely. She noticed the girl's rather glum mood. "Child? What is wrong? You've been sulking for quite a while." Elizabeth stared down at her feet.

"Well, I've just been a bit troubled lately." Elizabeth had felt something off about this world today. Like something was about to happen.

"Tell me all about it." The woman said sympathetically.

"It's my fiancé, I believe I've mentioned him before. Ciel. He, well, gets irritated by me. Hell, he practically hates my company. I'm just an annoyance, a silly child." The woman laughed. This surprised Elizabeth greatly.

"Dear child, he merely doesn't want you sucked into his hell. He carries quite the burden."

"But I wish to help him! No matter his troubles."

The woman's eyes dulled. "I'm afraid you cannot help him. You lack the power. He wouldn't allow your help, anyway." Elizabeth became agitated. "He is beyond the help of anyone by now."

Elizabeth had had enough. She banged her fists against her sides. "No! I refuse to stand idly as he withers away from his stupid work with the queen! He thinks I know nothing of his job, did he really think my mother would allow me to know naught of the man I was marrying? Did he forget that I was with him on the Campania?! Did he forget I saw his butler brutally kill tons of ferocious beasts like it was nothing?!" Her face was red with ferocity.

"Ah yes, the butler. You already know there is something wrong with him." She smiled.

"I'm not stupid. He's unnaturally perfect. Not to mention the superhuman strength and agility he possesses. He killed hundreds of zombies like it was child's play!" The woman smiled maliciously.

"You're so close to the answer on your own! I suppose the truth is quite incomprehensible to humans."

"You say that like your not one of us." Elizabeth became quite alarmed. "You, your not one of us. How do you know so much about my life? Who are you?!" Elizabeth screamed.

"Me? Shouldn't you be worrying more about the demon stalking your dear Ciel?" Demon. Demon. Demon! Elizabeth gasped. A...demon?! Her world felt like it was crumbling. It was impossible, demons aren't supposed to exist. But it was the only answer that made sense of his perfection.

"What does he want with Ciel! Answer me!" At this point, Elizabeth had been wishing she had her swords with her.

"You really wish to know that badly? Fine. I'll tell you. He wants a meal. It's as simple as that. Predator and prey."

"How do you know so much?! Are you one of them!" Her heart quickened.

The woman licked her lips eagerly. "I can feel your heart beating through your chest, your quick breaths." A ravenous hunger showed through her eyes. "You're still asking about who I am? I'm the only one who can help you." The world around Elizabeth seemed to dissipate. A pitch black darkness flowed all around them. The beautiful world was just a hallucination, and the dark was the reality of the situation.

Elizabeth gritted her teeth. "Help? From you? I wouldn't dream of being helped by a beast like you."

"I suppose you'll never know the full truth." Elizabeth raised an eyebrow curiously.

"Tell me." Elizabeth ordered. The beast laughed hysterically. "I'm considering your offer of help. You have to tell me the truth before I make my decision."

"Of course, milady. You wish to know the truth that badly, huh. It's been eating away at you ever since that month. The month that Ciel was missing. I'll tell you exactly what happened. He was kidnapped. Kidnapped and tortured beyond comprehension. He was quite near death when his cries of agony called a demon to hear. He made a deal with the demon, he would get the demons service in his revenge against the ones who put him through that pain. And in return, the demon could take his soul." Her eyes glowed maniacally.

"Why would Sebastian want Ciel's soul?!"

"Why? Because it's delicious! It's quite rare to find darkness in such a child. That demon's starving himself half mad right now just for a taste of it."

Elizabeth couldn't believe what she was hearing. This was utter madness! Her breath slowed. "Why are you telling me this? What could you possibly gain from this?"

"I sympathize with you Elizabe-" she was cut off.

"Cut the shit! You need me for something. Do you wish to make a meal of me too?"

"Not primarily. Your innocence is disgusting, as expected of the Child of the Sun. Over time, I'm sure I can mold you into a delicacy of course. But it's not your soul I am after right now."

"Then what?"

"Your body." What? "I am no demon. Unlike them, I cannot survive in the outside world without a vessel. I would of course rely on your soul for food. But in a more gradual way."

"What would happen when my soul runs out?" The woman laughed.

"It wouldn't. Souls are like the rest of the human body. They heal when they wound. I'd make sure to leave enough to regrow and then eat again. I am not gluttonous like a demon."

"A parasite. That's what you are. Latching onto a victim and slowly sucking the life out of it."

Elizabeth's response made her chuckle. "I suppose I could be called a parasite of sorts. All I need is to reside in your body with you. In return, I will give you the power to save your fiancé." Elizabeth pondered a moment.

"And if I refuse?"

"Then you'll wake up with no memory of my presence. You won't remember any of the truths of have told you. You'll be back at square one to find out what is wrong with your fiancé." Damn. This certainly made it hard for Elizabeth to choose. She needed this knowledge regardless to protect Ciel.

"Deal. I'll do it for Ciel. And for me." The beast knelt down to her knees and moved to kiss Elizabeth's knuckles. "No." Elizabeth stomped out her foot and the woman seemed to understand.

"The seals placement will have no affect on my power, only the darkness in your heart will. After this, there will be no going back." She reminded.

"So be it." Elizabeth responded.

She craned her neck and kissed the top of her foot and black marks swirled around Elizabeth's ankle.

"With this kiss, I bind you in our contract. This seal will mark you forever, claiming you as my vessel." The woman's smile turned unnaturally large.

"It is my shackle. I'll never be able to escape now." Elizabeth quietly muttered.

"Soon enough, my dear, you won't want to."

(A/N) So how was the new chapter?! This is so much fun to write, I've always wanted Elizabeth to play a larger part in the actual plot of kuroshitsuji. I thought it would be fun for her to have supernatural help, but didn't want to cliché it with a demon maid or something xD. Talk to me in the comments I love hearing from you guys!! Also, kudos if you understood the child of the sun reference from the book of murder side story! I just had to put it in there lol.
