I could barely get a word out
"Jack" I heard Jess's voice causing me to stand up
"You're such a lair" she grabs my water and chucks it in my face
"Sorry Vanessa" I say quickly and rush out to Jess
"She's just a friend" I grab her wrist before she can run away
"To be honest I couldnt give a fuck who she is"
"Don't lie to me that's all I ever asked for" she walks away leaving me feeling like the worst person ever

I was getting ready with Chloe and Serena while Jack and Johnson were out, I didn't want to see him after the fight
"What's up Hun" Chloe say noticing the look ok my face
"Nothing" i put on a fake smile and carrying on getting ready.
"Come on J we know somethings up," Serena says
"It's nothing okay,I just want to have a good time tonight" I said and went to go get my dress

I walked into in the ball with Chloe since Serena left earlier.
We spill on our mask and start walking around
"Sorry" Jack says bumping into me and walking past. I don't think he knew it was me, this will be fun.
"Hi, I'm Scarlet," I said grabbing his wrist changing my voice so he wouldn't recognize me
"I'm Jack and I need to go," he said nervously
"No! Don't leave, you seem tense. Talk to me," I said seductively
"I really need to find my girlfriend, I'm not interested," he sighed
"Oh no! not like that I actually have a boyfriend," I smiled
"What's the hurry" I say knowing actually why he wanted to find me
"My friend Vanessa has come over and I lied to my girlfriend so she wouldn't get jealous and it totally blow up in my face"
"I really should go" he said in an eager tone
"Stay" I say softly to him
He gives in and he go sit over at table
Jack
We were taking for about an hour and I felt a lot better but I was even more eager to see Jess now
"I just mess up all the time" i say in despair
"She's wonderful and I'm just causing problems were they don't exist"
"She sounds wonderful" she smiles at me and there was something about her that made her look similar
"Look it's the count down to masks off" she points at the clock on the screen
"I don't think she came, I definitely messed up"
"She came I can promise you that"
