Chapter One-Tobias
It's been three years since her death, and I'm still not over it. I would being screaming in the night, begging for one more chance to be with her, but I know that's not possible. I promised that I would live my life for her, but on days like these, it seems almost impossible.
Like every year I go zip lining up on top of the Hancock building with everyone else. Shauna can walk now so we won't need to wheel her up the stairs. I'm still afraid of heights, but I feel like I have to do this for her.
It hurts me too much to even think her name, let alone say it. The memories of her still sting like an open wound. Her smile, her laugh, her personality, her voice, her hair. Her. If she could hear me right now, I would tell her that I love her with all of my heart and that I miss her more than words can describe.
I'm about to go to bed and set an alarm to get up later, when there's a knock on the door. Thinking that it's Zeke coming around to give me a pep-talk, I unlock the door and open it.
What I see in front of me is the most shocking thing ever; a girl with long blonde hair and a smile plastered on her face, a boy with tan skin and a goofy smile, a girl with black hair that goes to her shoulder and a smirk on her face, a boy with celery green eyes and blonde hair, a woman with tan skin, and long black hair with green dye at the bottom, but most importantly of them all, the leader of the group, a short dirty blonde haired girl with it placed in a ponytail, three raven tatoos, pale skin, and those mesmerizing bule-grey eyes.
"Tris", is all I can say before I black out.
