Schmeißt mit Tellern, so viel euch passt,
biegt die Messer und Gabeln krumm,
tut, was Bilbo Beutlin hasst,
verbrennt die Korken, haut Flaschen um!
Pikt ins Tischtuch und tretet ins Fett,
gießt die Milch auf den Küchenflur!
Knochen im Bett sind besonders nett,
gießt den Wein in die Kuckucksuhr!
Jetzt die Gläser in den Müll hinein,
stampft drauf, stampft und mit Gesang!
Sind die Schüsseln nicht kurz und klein,
kegelt sie munter den Gang entlang!
Alles, was Bilbo Beutlin hasst!
Hört ihn bloß: Vorsichtig angefasst!

Chip the glasses and chrack the plates!
Blunt the knives and bend the forks!
That's what Bilbo Baggins hates -
Smash the bottles and burn the corks!
Cut the cloth and tread on the fat!
Pour the milk ob the pantry floor!
Leave the bones in the bedroom mat!
Splash the wine ob every door!
Dump the crocks in a boiling bowl;
Pound them up with a thumping pole;
And when you're finished, if any are whole,
Send them down the hall to roll!
That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!
So, carefully! Carefully with the plates!
