They turned around and it was Dawlish
"We are researching Herbology plants for our friend Neville here"Said Hermione
"You said research him..."Said Dawlish
"Yes we ment professor Sprout,He has written about Herbology in books"Hermione lied.
"Ok then...Until next time i see you i guess its goodbye." said Dawlish
He waited until Dawlish was gona and then Ron said"Phew!That was close!
"I know it was."Said Hermione
"Good job we had Hermione with us to wriggle our way out of it."Said Ginny
-Later at the libary-
"I've founs something!"Said Hermione
"What have you found?"Said Harry
"This"She said
John Dawlish,an auror for the Ministry of Magic was convicted of playing a part in the death of Lily and James Potter and was sent to Azkaban for his part.
"Why is he a teacher here then?"Asked Ron
"I dont know but i want to find out."Said Harry
So off they went it find McGonnogal.They found her in her office and showed her what they had found in the book.She said "I never knew he had a part in your parents death Potter i'm so sorry.|
Harry said"You werent to know professor"
"Harry we will give you some space."Said Ginny
"I don't want space.I want to get this over with.As a respect to my parents."Said Harry
So off they went to think of a plan.It was around november time so they didnt have a lot of time to do something so they knew they had to act fast-before Hary and Ron go back to the minstry.They thought of a plan and they decided to go for it.The plan was to get Dawlish on his own and ask him about it first.They were going to ask about him being an Auror first annd then some more challenging questions.So they knocked on his office door and they heard a very bold "Come In!!"
So Harry and Ron went in and he asked them"What do you two want?"
"Sir we want to ask you some questions about being an Auror"Said Harry
"Ask away then boys,ask away."He said
"Why did you help voldermort kill my parents?"Asked Harry
"W-what?"
"We know you did Dawlish."Snarled Harry
"How can you prove it?"Said Dawlish
Harry showed him the ectract from the book and he just stood there speechless.
"The ministry are coming for you now."Said Harry
"W-why?"Said Dawlish
"BECAUSE YOU HELPED VOLDERMORT KILL MY PARENTS!"Cried Harry
Just after Harry said that the Minister for magic came with a dementor and it gave him the dementors kiss.Now McGonnogal was worried about finding a defence against the dark arts teacher.She tried around the previous teacher and she had no luck."Who's going to teach?"Said Mcgonnogal to Shacklebolt.
"I will find someone."He said
"It will have to be quick."She replied
"Don't worry i know just who to ask."He said with a smile
"I think i know who you mean."She smiled
-Later in Gryffindor tower-
Shacklebolt walked in."Harry can i speak to you a moment please?"
"Sure,sir."He replied
"Harry Professor McGonnogal and myself are after a new defence against the dark arts teacher.Would you take on this task for us?"He asked
"Yes of course i will!It would be an honour."He said
"But i will have to give up my job at the ministry."He said
"Don't worry that job will always be open for you when you leave Hogwarts."He said
"Great.When do i start?"He asked
"Tomorow is that ok?"
"Yes!I cant wait!"
"Good luck Potter."
He went to Hermione Ginny and Ron afterwards..
"Guys guess what i am now?"He asked Ron,Ginny and Hermione
"What?"They asked
"The new Defence against the Drak arts teacher!"He smiled
"Really?"
"Yes thats what shacklebolt wanted me for."
"When do you start?"
"Tommorow!"
"Wow hello Professor Potter!"
"Come on guys help me move my things into my office."
"Ok"Said them all
Thye moved all of Harry's Belogings into the space where they had seen loads of others before.
-Later at the evening meal-
"May i have your attention please."Said McGonnogal
All the students looked at her.
"As you may have hard Professor Dawlish is no longer with us."
"But we have a new teacher,Professor Potter!"
Everyone cheered and clapped for Harry.
"May the feast begin!"
"Potter i knew we made the right decision making you defence against the dark arts teacher,you are the only one with real experience."Said McGonnogal
"Thankyou."He said
"Professor Potter,I love you"Said Ginny
"I love you too Miss Weasley"and he gave her a kiss
