I felt a slight movement shaking my body as I opened my eyes. "Adeline, wake up. It's time to bring you home." Jasper said. "What time is it?" I asked rolling over. "6:35." He told me. "Kay," I said pulling back the blankets. I stood up and rubbed the sleep away from my eyes. Jasper picked me up again and tucked me into his side. I wrapped my legs around him again as he carried me downstairs.
I said goodbye to Carlisle and Esme and told his sibling I would see them later. He carried me out to the garage and buckled me up. He drove me home quickly. He jumped back into my room with me clutching on to him quietly. He tucked me in the bed and walked to the window. "Wait," I whispered. "Yes," he said turning back around. "Will you stay, just hide in the closet when my mom comes in." I told him. "Okay," he responded. He sat down on the corner of my bed.
"Would you like a ride to school today?" He asked me. "Sure, thank you." I replied. "Okay, I need to return Carlisle's car. Do you mind riding in Emmett's jeep?" He asked me. "No not at all." I told him. "Lay down, your mom just woke up." He said running towards the closet. I pretended to sleep as my mom cracked the door open. Just a minute later the alarm on my phone went off. I reached over and turned it off. My mom quickly closed the door and walked downstairs.
Jasper came out of my closet and said goodbye. He drove Carlisle's car home and was then coming back. I changed into a pair of ripped jeans and a purple shirt with my tan ankle boots. I grabbed my bag and my phone and went downstairs. "Mom, the kid Jasper. Carlisle's dad, he will be taking me to school today." I told her grabbing a granola bar from the pantry. "Okay sweetie. Have a good day. I will be home tomorrow late afternoon." She told me kissing me on the cheek. "Okay, bye mom. I love you." I said as she left me standing in the kitchen.
A loud horn honk startled me as I jumped. I could hear laughter roaring from the driveway. I picked up my phone and bag and headed out the door. Parked in the driveway was a big red jeep. I opened the door to the back and climbed in. "Good morning Addie." Emmett said. "Morning." I replied. "Tired?" He asked. "Exhausted." I muttered. He chuckled.
"Are you feeling okay?" Jasper asked me. "Just fine." I lied. "No, I can feel your emotions. You're lying." He told me. I sighed a heavy sigh. "Come here." He said holding out his arms. I climbed into the front as Emmett pulled out of the driveway. He purposely halted to a quick stop sending me flying to the back of the jeep. I climbed back up and slapped him hard across the shoulder causing him to laugh.
I climbed onto Jasper's lap. He put his arms around me as my seatbelt and held me close. "Aww." Emmett said in a cute voice. "Just wait until I'm a vampire. I will be stronger than you. Don't make me kick your ass." I told him. He rolled his eyes at me.
We pulled up next to Edwards Volvo and got out. Jasper opened the door and lifted me up placing me gently on my feet. "Good morning Addie!" Alice exclaimed as we walked around the car. "Good morning Alice." I replied with a smile.
I walked to government with Alice who kept talking about going shopping on Friday. After that class was finished I had trigonometry with Jasper. I sat down next to him and pulled out my book. "I'm sorry." I told him. "For what?" He asked. "I just met you yesterday and I act like I'm your girlfriend. It just that, it feels like months that I've known you and it doesn't do to you." I said lowering my head in shame. "Girlfriend, huh?" He said looking ahead of him. "Yeah, I'm sorry." I told him. "Don't be. I know how you feel and I feel the same way." He said turning to face me. "Adeline, will you do me the honors of being my girlfriend?" He asked. "I would be honored." I told him.

After school, I went over to the Cullen's to do homework. "4x times 3a square" Edward said walking into the dining room where we had our homework spread out. "Hey thanks." I said. He grabbed a book and walked out.
"What do you want to eat?" Jasper asked me getting up from his chair. "I'm not hungry." I told him. "I can hear your stomach grumbling." He explained. I sighed. He threw a string cheese at me. I tossed it back to him as he put it back in the refrigerator.
"So... What time does your mom come home?" She asked me. "Um... Tomorrow afternoon." I told him. "Would you be interested in spending the night? You can sleep in my room. It's not like I ever use it." He told me. "Okay, I need to get my stuff thought. Can you take me home real quick?" I asked. "Sure let me get the keys. Meet you in the car." He said walking out of the room.
